Re: June Buddies!
Hi ladies
I'm 8 days post op now, and was going to get the nurse at my GP to take my dressings off, but decided to do it myself. My PS had said I could! But I'm confused! I had 'disolvable sutures' some tape stuff to aid wound healing, then a waterproof dressing.
I took the waterproof dressing off, but i dont know whether to take the tape stuff off!!??
Anyone know?
Thanks
J xx

Re: June Buddies!
I have an appointment with the nurse next week to get mine off. I had my BA and tummy tuck on Monday. My breasts are numb still - anyone else got this 5 days post op?

Re: June Buddies!
my breasts are still numb in places nearly 3 wks po,
i dont no what sort of stitches i had, i had steri strips on them straight after then when they were taken off it was just a closed scar, must of been dissolvable,
i was looking at tops today and thought that would look nice without a bra, you no the ones that have stretchyband across ur boobs, like boob tubes but nicer, but i wondered what do you do about ur nipples sticking out!!

Re: June Buddies!
I have one on my left from where they were cut down at 7 days but it still hasn't dissolve properly, my PS said its fine but that I can come in to have it trimmed if its a nuisance. I'm sure its fine and should full dissolve eventually MissT but give them a call just to be sure.MissT wrote:Hey girls, good to see your all doing well....quick question.......anyone still got undissloved stitches?? Re: June Buddies!
Hi bumblelady,
yes my leftie is higher than my right. This is completely normal, they will settle down. It is usually the side of the hand that you write with that stays higher for longer, because the muscle is stronger. xxxxxx

my ex partner has notcied up at the school, now getting nasty remarks about how he is poor and struggling whilst i can go and get some stupid boobs!
dont care what he thinks, at the end of the day i got them done with some money that was left to me by a relative, not a loan that i will struggle to pay back,

I'm doing good I lay down to sleep last and weirdly couldn't get comfortable been so use to sleeping upright and on my back but i eventually got to sleep only a little pain under the right boob and they seem to be settling well although my left boob is slightly bigger than the right hope that sorts itself out lol
