back to see my surgeon.... UPDATE

Just an update from my post the other day about going back to see my surgeon due to being hugely disappointed regarding my size. I felt like surgery day all over again waiting in that waiting room... but had no need to be at all.

First off, he said I had recovered extremely well, a good capsule had been formed around the implant, they had fallen nicely into place and said he felt i wouldn't experience any problems with my implants (obviously no guarantee, but was nice to hear!) He also that I could treat my boobs like my own from now on.... WIRES WOOHOO! 

We discussed how i felt regarding the size and he advised me to wait until i am 6 months post op to decide how i feel. He told me at the 6 month mark for me to come back because he genuinely wanted me to be happy with my result - his own words: "you had this surgery to make you feel happier, and thats what i want for you too."  I asked him about whether i would have to pay the full amount or if i would receive any discount -  he smiled and told me not to worry about it and that we would discuss everything at the 6 month mark if i still wanted to go ahead...

I know it doesn't seem like much.. but its strange how just seeing him made me feel 100 times better. i know theres no guarantee with the discount but by what he has said, it seems he may be able to help me if i still feel unhappy.

Me too Cookie!! He said no restriction at all on bras as long as it is comfortable - so i am excited to get some nice bras :) 

Princess - he is fab :) I don't know why i got so nervous now.. he was so understanding! :)

Thanks hun :) really appreciate the support.  I live in Northern Ireland and we really don't have a big selection - even la senza shut down!! Are debenhams any good? My sis lives over in London - so might be a good excuse for a wee visit xx

Also good news he wants you to be happy and wants to see you again soon, he did t say there wouldn't be a further charge but at the same time he didn't say there will so let's hope that if you go ahead he will at least offer discount! :) xx

Exactly! :) He could have easily said 'sorry you will need to pay the full amount again' etc... which he didn't. But even if its a small discount, it will give me something to seriously consider. Im expecting to have to pay and any less is a bonus xxx

I'm so pleased to read your feeling happier hun x debenhams sell the Freya range which is lovely. I would def suggest you go and get measured, you will be pleasently surprised. Also if you do go and visit your sis, I would highly recommend a visit to bravissimo xx

Debenhams were ok, I didn't think I was given the time and attention I received In bravissimo, but I did measure the same size as I did in bravissimo. X

I think ill give them a go for now and then book a wee trip over! :) Cant wait xx
