Post by tinkerbell24 7th February 2013, 8:53 pm

hi all thank you all for being interested in how i got on

so.... my surgeon does agree that they are sitting high, but he did say that trying to get the implants in was a good struggle and he is actually surprised I wasnt on the phone asking for much more pain relief as he really did think I was going to be very sore as he struggled so so much

We have both decided that we should wait another 4 weeks and see if they drop as he really doesnt like re operating or massaging textured implants unless its a MUST and he showed me some pics of other patients with similar stats and sized implants that he struggled to get in at 4 weeks 8 weeks 12 weeks and 6 month and the diff between 8 weeks and 6 month were amazing!! so im hopeful

I told him about the forum and that all you girlies have great looking boobies and that mine look nothing like all yours back from surgeon, update 683465 and he said ive to stop comparing myself as we are all very different and that in time he says my boobs will do their thing

but i now have the go ahead for baths, swimming, saunas, massaging my scars with bio oil and i can do some light exercises but to listen to my body if it says stop, then stop.

He said I can wear wires but theres no point in buying bras as he says in going to change over the next 4 - 8 weeks and to get measured in 4 weeks and go from there

As a surgeon he is more than happy with the results that he has seen so far and he says that my muscle is just really really stretched and the skin is too so when the muscle relaxes my boobs will come out a little more and settle too

so yeah so so

but thank you all for taking time to read and listed back from surgeon, update 321562

And haven't we told you the same..... *wink wink* and its the best advice he could have given you too.

4 weeks is nothing hun. It'll go by so fast, so just let your boobs do their stuff and take things one day at a time gorgeous. Xxx

All sounds positive though. Hopefully time will give you the result you are after. I am sure it will. Mine took ages to soften and I thought it would never happen as people kept telling me theirs softened at 6 weeks and mine were still rock hard bolders but now at nearly 5 months post op they are nice and squishy.

Apart from needing to give your boobs some more time to settle into their new home...it sounds like everything else is going great! So chill out now tink and enjoy long soaks in the bath, a swim and all those things you've not been able to do. 4-6 weeks time you will see so much change x x

Glad all went well with your surgeon and that he's given you the reassurance that you needed.Being that they're settling into place slowlys a good thing too as no nasty stretch marks! I know it's hard when your desperate to see results now, but I,m sure your going to have fabby boobs when they've settled! and will be on here in months to come reassuring all the newbies not to worry when theirs aren't behaving themselves either! Hug X
