Help... Back pain!
Hi girls, I'm looking for some advice... Almost straight after my BA I noticed a few sharp pains in my back (kind of between my shoulder blades) but they seem to be getting more frequent and I had a lot of difficulty sleeping last night and now the pain is pretty much constant. I went to the gym a lot until the op so thought my body, especially my back muscles, would be prepared for the new weight at the front. My gym instructor did mention that I could've should work on it but didn't get much time in the end. I didn't go crazy I only had 300cc so didn't really expect this...
Any advice, does anyone have or had this and what did you do!?
I'm 5 weeks today and hoping to start exercising again after my 6 week check up but I'm worried my new back problem may get in the way.
It's a tad annoying because other than that I'm really happy with how they look and feel and I'm even getting big boob comments but people think they've just maraculously appeared, it's quite funny really...
Cheers x

Re: Help... Back pain!
Are you back to normal as far as your boobie recovery goes Boobsplease? standing up straight? normal everyday activities? normal sleeping position?
If yes to all of those, then the problem probably has nothing to do with your boobs babe and it might be worthwhile making an appointment to see your GP and get them to check it over hunni. xx

Re: Help... Back pain!
I just had another thought... Is it possible the bra you're wearing at the moment is too small? If the straps are pulling tight on your shoulders this could effect your back sweetheart, just a suggestion if nothing else comes to light babe. xxx
Re: Help... Back pain!
I thought I was standing up straight until I caught myself slouching last night. I'm pretty much back to normal otherwise, I'm still sleeping with a pillow or two more depending on how I feel. Always used to sleep with one but wasn't sure how long I needed to sleep upright for so kept up the higher raise than normal..
And my bra isn't too small I don't think but guess it could be something simple like that, just seems a bit of a coincidence that it came on almost straight after... xx

Re: Help... Back pain!
The slouching could be the cause babe, or the sleeping position...
I think it's almost a protective instinct when we have our new boobs to slouch over and possibly to also disguise them in the early days so as not to attract too much attention to them at first till people get used to seeing the 'new you'.
As for the sleeping position, you should be absolutely fine to sleep however way you choose now hunni as long as it doesn't cause you any discomfort.
The back pain does sound like it's probably is down to your posture and sleeping position then hunni, try to be more aware of how you're standing and send those boobies out proud! LOL and the quicker you get back to sleeping normally and standing correctly hun the better really, but if the pain does continue, you should really seek advice from your GP sweetie. xxx

Re: Help... Back pain!
I noticed myself walking around like a hunch back and it did give me back ache, I used a hot water bottle to relieve the ache which enabled me to correct my posture.
Re: Help... Back pain!
I had this too! Still get it sometimes as well, when I've been standing up for a long time! It's definitely the sleeping position that caused mine, teamed with my posture. I find that doing yoga really helps align my spine, also sometimes I have to get my other half to crack my back for me (we stand back to back, link arms at the elbows then he lifts me off the floor onto his back and my back cracks). Sounds disgusting but really helps! xx
