pain in the back Empty pain in the back

Post by wend 13th December 2010, 10:14 am

Hi 2 weeks today by boobie journey begun. I went back to work last Thurs and i do stand all day but have been for over 20 years. I have a constant nigggling pain right in the middle, sort of between my shoulder blades which is just sooo annoying. I am qiuie strong usually in my back as i do pilates and gym regularly. I`m wondering if it`s slight weight distribution,or these bleeding sports bra`s anyone know if this is common? i only had 300cc and i think cookie worked out that`s not much more than a pound in weight. Boob pain is just sore to the touch now so thats good. Cheers Wend x

It's probably down to your posture Wendy, although we don't often realise it, most BA ladies have a tendancy to kind of stoop, don't know if it's an instinctive protective thing or we subconsciously want to hide the new assets till their ready for their big reveal or if it's because the breast area may be a little tight and the body is compensating for that.

Try being aware of your posture hun, stand straight and walk tall with shoulders back, it's just a little thing that sounds daft but thinking about how you're standing and walking does make you aware that often we might be hunching over.

It does get better hunni. xx

I found I was hunching and causing myself back pain. Like cookie says, not sure if it's to protect the assets or if it's because the skin is tight but most of us do it without realising.

Thanks. Hope it goes aways soon as now i`m taking pain killers again just for my back! Will stand tall (well as tall as a 5ft gal can do) and see if it eases in a few days x

I had this sooooo bad! Right where you say as well. For me it was because I was sleeping on my back and sleeping upright, and stooping over. It does ease off soon. xx
