confused with sizing
i have noticed alot of people are having around 310cc + and coming out around a d or dd,
and normally starting at a 34a or b chest,
im getting a 450cc and have a 34b chest, i thought it would take me to a dd or e cup,
im wondering if im going to be alot bigger than this?

Re: confused with sizing
It's best not to compare your size with other ladies hun, even if they they have same stats as yourself, their body shape, chest size, skin thickness, and breast size are not likely to ever be an exact match to yours and most of us even with the same stats end up with different resulting sizes. Trust what your surgeon recommends for you hunni based on the result you asked for and your own measurements which are unique to you. xxx
Re: confused with sizing
i think everyone is different, depending on their build etc....they say allow 150cc per cup size, so that sounds about right for you, taking you up to DD or an E
your op must be only a cple of wks away now....i hope you're feeling better now cos it had to be postponed didnt it x x x

Re: confused with sizing
Here's a rough guide hun
30-32" chest size 100-120cc per cup size
34-36" chest size 120-140cc per cup size
38-40" chest size 140-160cc per cup size
460/140=3.2 cup sizes. So thats about a DD/E
Hope that helps a little but as cookie says you'll always have something different even if you are exactly the same stats pre-op.

Re: confused with sizing
I agree, we're all different and our bodies adapt differently to having implants. You may end up a little bigger or you may be a DD/E
Re: confused with sizing
Just to add to the confusion...
I had 390cc, went to M&S and bought perfectly fitting 34DDs. One week later in La Senza, a perfectly fitting bra in that shop was... 34F !! So when you read sizes it casn also depend on where people went!!

Re: confused with sizing
Sizing is an absolute mindfield, it really is down to the individuals body and all the factors that go with it, like the girls have said 2 people with the exact same stats will most probably come out with different results.
As long as you've discussed the look your after with your ps and you trust his judgement, you will be fine hun.
Your almost in the 7 day countdown hun, exciting times!

Re: confused with sizing
not long for us now, babe!!
I am resisting posting on the sizing nightmare but am reading all the posts avidly, something in my head is saying if I post about it then it will become real!! Silly I know!
I do though, even though I have four sizes to choose from, have no choice really as JMcD is using sizers in the op to see which fills me best and I will just wake up with my right size! Maybe ask your surgeon, if you become more worried to take a smaller implant in and use sizers? Also take some pics in on the day so he can see the sort of look and resulting size you want, as it seems one surgeons DD or E cup is anothers FF!!
And back to the 460's, maybe your boobs, like mine will need a certain size implant to rill them out? I have to have a certain size to avoid the ball in a sock look, nice!
But Boobieprize, your post has worried me - I am a 32 band and on a good day, a 30 band so am dreading what size I'l be if I have the 515cc (now a b, so over 4.5 cup sizes! A G CUP!!)
Defo too big for little me!!
Good luck bumblelady xx
