Help on sizing please....confused.com!!!

What's happened to me.....I was all set in my mind for 460cc and now I'm convinced that's gonna be too big for me...help!! I'm 4ft 11 34b size 8/10 and 8st 9 anyone with similar stats had or having same and can advise or reassure? I was gonna have 410 but mr meleagros transform said I could fit 460 even thou he said choice was up to me and wouldn't say his opinion!!! Don't wanna end up looking silly...was even gonna cancel but my partner calmed me down

Oh dear me, not you too... I've just been speaking with Clover about the same surgeon who said exactly the same thing to her!!

Arrange another consultation if it's this particular surgeon you want Shaz. Have a more indepth chat with him about sizes and what size would give you the least complications?

Ask him what size he would recommend for you, if he's still evasive and insists YOU choose, then don't be afraid to tell him that you came for his expert opinion and if the size isn't right for you post-op, would he then be willing to exchange the implant size for a better one seeing as he, the expert isn't willing to tell you which would be right?

With choosing your own size Shaz and going for the largest size that could they could possibly fit into you, should this higher the risk of complication the responsibility of this would then lay with you wouldn't it. It would be written in your notes that you chose the size and trust me, if theres an avenue to void after care it will be done!

Be VERY careful Shaz and if your surgeon tells you that should you have a complication even after YOU choosing the size and not him, they will take responsibility for that, that be 100% sure you see that written in your notes gorgeous. xxxx

I had my first consultation with Mr Meleagros and decided not to go with him because when I was choosing sizes he was sat chatting to a friend on his phone!!! In hindsight I should have put my top back on and done a runner but at the time I wasn't sure what was appropriate and what wasn't. I do suggest going back for a second consultation or possibly seeing other's if your heart isn't in the right place with this one. It's an important decision and you should feel totally comfortable. xx

I looked at lots of pics on the web.. Typed in pics of A cup to D cup etc and implant size. I am not similar at in in stats. I am 5ft 6 having 380cc implants, should be about a D cup. My surgeon at Transform gave me the 410 cc to try and I just followed my gut and thought " oh no" . Maybe show a pic of a similar size that you want. The sizing bit is hard isn't it? I worry that I will be too big!! You cannot really say what the end result will be, I have realised that more when I have looked at all the stats on here! My surgeon is Mr Mashhadi at Transform, he was so helpful at the consultation and told me which he preferred etc. I admired his honesty!

I agree with what you are all saying...problem is I have booked unpaid leave from work booked and paid my deposit and Pre op. think I will contact transform Monday with my concerns, I'm sure mr m could have given me his opinion and then let me make an informed choice....after all he is the expert!! Fed up as thought it was all sorted in my mind, do implants appear smaller when implanted rather than just stuck in a bra? Prob silly question lol. Xx

Mine appeared larger 'to me' in the flesh... but then even after going smaller after my re-op, I'd still go smaller still, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask. xx

Ooh my head is spinning!!!....after losing 2 stone and having 2 children (I was once a dd) I have room for this size implant 460 but don't want massive boobs but will the 410 be too small.....aahhhhh I hate this! Can't think of anything else.

Not silly Shaz, I am having dual plane unders so will they be smaller then someone who has had overs! Confused with the fluffing and dropping that I read about!!! It's so much to take in! Like I said I followed my gut, and knew straight away that certain sizes were not for me! I am only 8 stone 5 and athletically built . It can depend on your build etc . What size you are now ?You sound very petite so I can understand that you don't want to be top heavy. Just wondering what cup size you want to achieve. I know in my head I won't be disappointed with a C up to a DD... Given myself a bit of leeway!!! Ha ha, as flat chested as I am anything is a bonus!!!x

Ah bless ya jakki32 : ) I'm 4ft11 and 34b but at my biggest was 34dd now just have empty boobs after losing weight so have plenty of empty skin so to speak to fill lol. Yeah fluffing and dropping etc is confusing if I have 410 and they drop and fluff and look small i will have wished I'd had 460. Wish I could have them in wake up look and say ok or no bigger that would solve my headache! Who and where you having your Ba? Xx

At Riverside, Transform , Mr Mashhadi. I have been thinking about it for years. I just really liked him, he was very thorough . Really took the time to listen to me which I liked a lot . I did do some research on their surgeons before hand. It was a toss up between him and Khan. Don't hear much about him though. He works at Guys doing Reconstruction also. I have the same worries.. But I knew which I preferred and then I asked him and he said what I was thinking, which was great! I have never had boobs apart from after pregnancy! And then not for long!!! I said I wanted a natural look . I am nervous and excited!! Not long now.. Time is flying! He did say that 410cc would probably be a D or more, but that's my frame, some on here have had small overs and are D cups! That is what makes it confusing!!! They cannot commit on the finished result can they? Just what they prefer at the consultation and a rough estimation .

I kinda understand them not committing themselves but surely a little help a, he said they don't go by cup size as everyone is different just by cc....didn't really help me lol. I did like him and felt comfortable etc and he answered all my questions etc, I am an indecisive person anyway. I'm going to riverside on 27th October so you'll have yours before me you'll have to let me know how you get on, it is as you say very exciting. Xx

Of course I will let you know . Do you know if you will be having overs or unders? You probably have a bit of tissue, I had zilch so I knew it would be unders! I am usually indecisive but I just followed my instincts. So we will be poodling along about 3 weeks apart!! Nice to have a fellow Oct buddy x we can help eachother along the way!!

Hi Hun the sizing is a real worry isn't it, I drove myself mad before my BA over this even up to the morning of surgery. I was originally going to see Mr Melegrous as my sister in law had him last year, I was all set that I wanted him to do my op, then I spoke to a couple of people that also had Mr Khan, so I told my Pc I wanted to see both those surgeons, she showed me both their work and explained abit about each, she said Mr Melegrous will put in any size you want whereas Mr Khan goes as big as he thinks would look right on your frame and was very good at sizing. I didn't want to have anything massive especially after she explained complications and risks etc so I decided to see Mr Khan. Then I joined this wonderful forum and see that loads of girls had seen a couple of surgeons and thought maybe I had rushed in, I had heard good things about Mr Nathan on another forum so decided to see him as we'll. my PCM did warn he was a little more conservative with his sizes but I just wanted to have the choice of two surgeons. Mr Nathan recommended 230 or 260, when I see khan he said 260 or 300 but advised that the 300 would look very fake on me and 260 would be perfect, so he gave me his honest opinion. I agreed 260 and then the week leading up to my op I had same dilemma as you, so I spoke to him again on the morning of my op and he warned me that if I had 300 they would look very stuck on but if they fitted he would do it if I wanted, I asked him to choose in theatre and he refused saying it was my choice, abit like Mr M has done with you, but I guess because he had given me his expert opinion it was down to me to make that choice. I didn't want to look stupid so I stuck with his advice and plus if I had made the choice of the bigger implant and I had complications later I'm sure that I would have been told well you made that choice you were warned! At least by taking his advice if anything were to happen they can't use that against me, I am so glad I went with what he said because my size is perfect and I think any bigger would have looked silly on me. I do think its naughty that Mr M is making you take full responsibly for the size, has he not given a opinion on what would be more suitable for you? Could you possibily book in with another surgeon at transform to see what size they say with the cui implant at least then if they give you a similar cc size to Mr M you will have a better idea of choosing a size. I also heard you loose a little once they are in but I had hp overs and I don't think I have, sorry if I have rambled but I know how stressful this can be xx

This has been really useful as I'm in the same boat with mr meleagos. I'm trying to choose between 365 and 410 cmh. Mr m would not give me his opinion even when I begged him. I do like him and he's a wonderful surgeon but I'd prefer him to choose seeing as he's the expert x

Try a 380 cc, see what that looks like. x

My surgeon told me that 110cc equates to roughly 1 cup size (very rough guesstimate as its not an exact science). I pondered that and decided to go with the 365cc (I'm 5ft 6) and I have to say that it was pretty accurate for me, I was in a 34a with chicken fillets pre BA and I'm a D cup now

I didn't realise there was a 380? There isn't one on the cmh catalogue? Oh no, another size to worry about lol

I may book with ms lutz and see what her opinion is aswell. Always worth having another opinion x

Hi Hun. Im 5'2" 8 stone 10 size 8 and was a 32b/c.

I had 400 and 445 (due to a size difference) in June and wouldn't want mine any bigger. Im in a 32f bra now. Some things I wear I think I look fat and they do get in the way. Don't get me wrong I am happy but I wouldn't wish to be any bigger xx
