Sizing! Confused Pe BA
Hi girls, looking for some advice...
I have had 2 proper consultations and 1 10min one at an open day think I've found my perfect surgeon. I got to do some sizing with one surgeon (which I did not like as he was so disinterested) I didn't get much time to try sizes on as he said theres no point as it wont be exactly like that (which I know) but I wanted a rough idea.
I'm 5ft 1 and wear size 6/8 clothes, roughly 7 stone and very small round the ribs. Slight, as the surgeons said.
Currently an empty, whatever I am (guessing an A possibly B). I want a bit of WOW! but not so fake looking. I'm scared i'll go overly natural and hate them, but I don't like the obvious round look. I also don't like the very natural look.
As my consultation with my surgeon is tomorrow morning, this is a full one with the guy I saw at an open day I want to go in with more of an idea. I've been looking online and such for pics but I just can't decide on anything..
Am I being overly obsessed with sizes?
Did you girls go with what your surgeon told you or what you told him and you both agreed on?
help and advice appreciated aswell as some answers of girls my stats and also what soze you are now and what you had put in.
Thanks muchly ladies x

Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA
Hi hun, ah the pre consultation nerves. Don't worry, just talk things over with the surgeon tomorrow and see what they say. It can be quite hard to try to explain what you want which is why it's such a good idea to tak pictures. Maybe take a look online and start by printing out pictures of what you don't want. Is their any celeb which you think has a similar size to what you are looking for?
Sizing is hard and you won't have to come to a 100% decision tomorrow at your consultation. You can go back another time and talk sizes again and again. Don't feel pressured into book or agreeing to anything yet.
I myself had an idea of what I wanted in my head, I took photos of what I liked on other people, they were various sizes but all around a DD+ which is what I was looking for. My surgeon went through all the info with me, we tried on sizes and I tried on a slightly bigger size than he had suggested but he refused to go bigger and warned me that the size I had chosen could look slightly rounded at the top, he didn't think it would but with the size I'd chosen it was possible. I didn't get that look and they do slope naturally but I can achieve the high rounded look if I want to with the right bra. I think most surgeons will try to give you a nice natural look unless you ask for different.

Don't put too much pressure on yourself babe. There's no rush, take things slow and you won't get this wrong.
If you can find pics of the look you want for tomorrow that's great! We have some links in this thread [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] where you may find a look you like.
If you don't... That's OK. Go with your questions and a notepad to jot down everything the surgeon has to say in regard to your surgery plan. This way you won't forget anything and can come home and research the plan offered to you for yourself.
Don't book tomorrow even if you feel over the moon. Give yourself time to go home and think it through. If after thinking it over you feel this surgeon is for you then you can go back and see the surgeon again. Its not going to cost anymore, it will be free and in that time you can also look for pictures too if you can find any that you like.
But if you're happy to trust your surgeon that's fine too.
Just be sure that before booking anything you are 100% confident your surgeon fully understands the look you're wanting and that they are able to give you as close to that as possible.
If you're seeing a BAAPS member do also ask about ASC insurance and if they have opted into this. Its only available to BAAPS members and for a small fee (around £150-£200) you can get yourself an additional 2 years aftercare cover that starts 'after' the clinics aftercare has run out. It a great thing to have if you can get it and and VERY cheap too for when you consider the possible costs of revision.
I hope all goes well Kati and please let us know how things go won't you. Xx

Hi, honey!!
It sounds like you want to.make sure you get the exact perfect size for you! That's great so i think you should take some pictures in of the ideal size for you! Also.. Make sure you get through to your surgeon and ask him what he thinks would be best for you! :)
When i went to my consultation with my surgeon i asked him what he thoght i should have as i was very conscious aboutmlooking natural and normal for my size. He advised that i havd 310cc to look natural. However, because i was having the implants put under the muscle i was afraid that they may look smaller so i asked for 340cc.. So my point is, ask your surgeon and then tell him what you would like and see if you can compromise :)
My surgeon advised me and then compromised with me and now i'm very happy with what we decided!!
Good luck at your consultation, babe!! And good luck for your actual operation in advance!
Take care, lovely xxxxx

Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA
great advice from the girls above hun, most importantly don't stress! this is meant to be a fun and exciting journey :)
if you can bring in pics to show the surgeon, of the look you're after, then that is a massive plus to make sure you're both on the same page when it comes to discussing size, especially as perceptions of cup sizes can vary.
a sizing appointment (sometimes done separately, with a nurse or a coordinator) does help as well AFTER you have discussed possible sizes with the surgeon, as you will have more time to try on sizes, and you can bring in different tops as well to try the look out.
also if you type rice boobs into the search bar here you'll find an explanation of how to make your sizers so you can try them on at home. i even took mine to m&s and tried on some bigger bras with them lol.
what i can say though is i stressed way too much about sizes too, and the picture approach is definitely a good way to go :)
good luck hun x

Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA
Thanks to you all for your replies. Yeah I've been doing a lot of googling for pictures and have a few on my phone to show him. Some I want and others I def don't want. Just stressing as when I had my first sizing with a diff surgeon he was rushed and didn't offer any advice just let me try on two and then said that's what your getting which I didn't like. So now I think I'm being overly worried about this next surgeon.
This isn't a big company and I have to pay for the consultation so going to try and squeeze in as much as I can with this one. Although from being with him for 10-15mins at the open day they had I think I fell in love. He was so genuine and realistic of everything and said if I wanted too big he wouldn't do it. Which is a good thing for me ^^ don't want to look like Jordan.
Think it's nerves... As I'm getting ever closer to it all. Just have to see tomorrow. Appointment at 11:30 and a 2.5hr drive there :/
Thanks for the support girlies and I will let you all know how I get on tomorrow :) x

Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA
Hey hun ur stats are very similar to mine. I'm 5 ft and a couple of pounds under 7 stone and a size 6.. I'm an A/b currently and also want the wow but not fake look. Having 260 overs on the 6th Feb. I don't think ur being obsessed with sizes, it's hard with us small girls...I was offered the 230s and 260s. .. 230s I thought wouldn't make much difference and I may as well continue wearing padded bras and the 260s I thought looked great. Such a small cc difference wouldn't make a massive difference to an average 5 ft 5 size 8-10 girl but because we're so tiny everywhere it probably will lol Wish I was average sometimes lol. You have to go with what you want :) if you have any questions lemme no xx

Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA
Hi Girlies, well i'm finally back home after some surgeon time and also shopping time :)
Been a long day but decided this was my surgeon... even though I googled him in lots of ways and came up with no reviews for him what so ever.. so I am pleased to announce David McGill at LaBelleForme in Glasgow.
He was so genuine, considerate, and had morals and good ethics.
On his own accord he offered me 330cc unders. Which I roughly what I was guessing I would get with help from the forum.
I have paid a deposit today of £700 and hopefully secured my surgery date for the 15th of Feb.. (to be completely confirmed by the hospital)... This is fast..... Nerves and excitement now, along with a bit of terror (phobia of needles so this shall be fun when the time comes ^^)
Not 100% on the implant size. As I am so slight though that's as far as I can go without them going over and spilling out the side... unsure if I will ask for slightly bigger but I do trust him. He said if I was unhappy with size after settling down he would happily correct it and anything else I had a problem with ^^
I fell in love with him and wanted to hug him after all these surgeons I had seen recommendations for which turned out to be hurried out their door after 2.5hours drive to see them..
So happy!
And thank you girlies for your help..
going to sleep on the idea of 330cc unders and see how I feel in the morning :D
xx

If you're sure.... You're sure babe.. Congratulations on booking and don't forget to add your date to Calendar Entries section of the forum (not the actual calendar) so we can all send on our good luck wishes your way when your special day arrives. Xx
Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA

I posted on the February page and shall go do the calendar entries now :D
Thanks again for your advice over my few posts :D x

Re: Sizing! Confused Pe BA
Hi Lauren. My surgeon just saint surgeon just said what I could have. Because I'm so narrow around my chest I can't fit big implants there.. :( I'm having 330cc but wondering if I should phone and ask for the next size up to be tried aswell :/ if I do go bigger there's a possibility that it will start poking out from under my arms.
I didn't want to wait either and his next surgery dates are the 15th :)
