washing hair after BA
Hey everyone,
Im 8 days post op and realy need to clean my hair :).
Im feeling ok to lift my arms up, not totally above my head. Is it ok to wash my hair now or can I cause some kind of internal damage:).

You should be fine if you can manage Jodi, just listen to your body babe, if it hurts don't do it, but if you're feeling OK, then wash away! x

I got my boyfriend to do mine for the first week- it was holding the hair dryer I found hard! x

I have managed to wash my hair but also found holding the hairdryer hard so just left it to dry naturally. If it feels ok then perhaps give it a go. x

I managed to wash my hair 3 days post op by leaning over the bath and throwing a jug of water over my head lol. Do what feels comfortabe your body will let you know if your straining anything.

Try the hairdressers so they can dry it for you, or get some dry shampoo from boots its quite good if you have blonde hair (hides roots also haha) xxxxx

I washed my hair over the bath and was okay. Just take it slowly and stop if it hurts.
