washing hair!!! day 3 po
Although I'm still, obviously, basking in my 'new boobie bliss' absolutely loving my new little additions....I fear it is at any moment it is going to become unacceptable for me to have such unwashed hair....when can I wash it? Birds are pecking at the Windows trying to get in to lay their eggs in it...ok, ok, really it's just looking very limp and absolutely cannot take one more spray of dry shampoo...it's gettin the "we need to stage an intervention" point.
Any tips??

Well I have my man, I can just see it ending up being like an episode of the chuckle brothers though...what about drying it? He will set my head on fire!! I have really long thick hair that will take the best part of the day to dry while leaving huge puddles of water everywhere I go....how long until we are able to do it ourselves?

I was able to wash my hair on my own from day2. I just stood with head over bath and used the shower head and have been doing that everyday since. The first time was definitely the hardest but its got easier each day, cant wait to be able to shower though and have a good proper wash!! Hope your recovering well x

There's no way I could have done it myself for the first week, we have a little seat in our shower so I sat on that with a towel round my shoulders and put my head forward then my mum kindly done it for me. It didn't feel as good as if I was able to do it myself but it done the trick. I agree tho once you feel able to do it yoursel it's great xx

I lent over in the shower and washed it, I wasn't worried about drying it.
Or dry shampoo could be your new friend!

If you're feeling OK which it sounds like you are and with you having such long hair you'd probably be best making an appointment to get your hair washed and dried at a salon hun. No need to go to an expensive salon if that's the kind you usually use, its just to get your hair washed, so the local little salon will do to get get a wash and blow on the cheap to make you feel better babe. You know what?! That's exactly what I'm gunna do, there's a pretty bog standard 'village salon' which normally I wouldn't use but just for a wash and blow dry for £8 (bloody bargain!!) I can't grumble, will ring in the morning and get that organised!!

I went to the barbers, £5 for a wash and rough dry. Went twice in wk one, then when I was allowed in the shower started attempting it myself.

I'm terrible with my hair, wash it once a week as it goes lank when I wash it.. Better after few days.......... My friends all laugh at me, good advert for a hairdresser...... But it just looks better after its settled. Then I dry shampoo the roots for lift.... It's fab stuff........ I'm also the proud owner of a few hairpieces, which I love......
I will be going and having blow dry after though just for little treat...... Get me out the house xx

Sounds like a plan babe! My neighbour is a hairdresser with a studio in her flat so I've already booked in with her! Xx
