Numb boobies underneath??
Hi Girls,
I have a question - I'm now 4 weeks post-op and feeling has returned fully in nipples and top part of boobies, they are still quite numb in parts underneath. I know it will take time for the nerves to heal (I had unders) but just wondered what your experience had been?
Thanks!

Re: Numb boobies underneath??
Mine took a good few months for feeling to come back. There are a couple of little patches that are still numb and for me they wont come back now. But I don't notice it at all.
Re: Numb boobies underneath??
For most of us, all sensation will return by 12 months post-op, but for some, they do have some permanant loss of sensation. It's caused by the pressure of the swelling on the nerves, this temporarily numbs some areas, you might also find that you experience numbness around your incision line the nerves around there will have been was cut and this can take slightly longer to heal. xxx

I'm almost 10 months post op and still am numb in patches. I was told that there is a small chance it will always be numb but I hope I get the feeling back by the 12 month mark. xx
