Red underneath boobs :(
I'm a bit worried cos my boobs are a bit red underneath just in the crease that would normally be there but isn't yet! and they are tender to touch like a little bruised. I think it's the bra digging in - I still have my surgical bra on and it rides up. I also think that it's the bottom of the implant that I can feel... is all this normal?? I've got one more week of wearing the surgical one so I went out and bought a couple of non wired ones from m & s today but I found they did the same thing, maybe because there's no crease there they just end up rubbing - anyone else had this?

.x. i didn't experience this problem so don't really have any advice to give but I'm sure that it's nothing too serious and it's such early days for you still I'm sure it will all be fine. Discomfort and rubbing in the surgical bra is something everyone seems to complain about. Does your bra have seams where the red marks are becuase that could explain it... i deliberately bought ones with as few seams/stitching on the cup as possibel to avoid this problem .x.

Re: Red underneath boobs :(
yeah i had this hunny and also my ribs felt really sore too.
alot of the girls on here said they had the same thing so no need to worry hunny.
it will get better in time, in the meantime you could try a gauze pad folded up and placed between your bra and incisions just to pad it a bit this helps.

Yeh, my ribs and sternum feels sore - think it's because this bra squishes them together and they've never been together in their life! lol
I'm also so worried about anything going wrong since my nurse was overly emphatic about redness and fever - I've been constantly checking them, my bf thinks I've lost it!!

Maybe the band size of your bra needs to be a bit bigger hun? I didn't experience this but like the other girls said I don't think its anything to worry about xxx

Not something that happened to me either - you could try different sizes like Sally says. I found Asda sports bras were very comfortable and not too expensive.

Thanks everyone for putting my mind at rest :)
I have to wear this surgical bra with the band putting pressure on the top of my boobs for 4 weeks so only a few more days to go. Think I'll go to asda and get a couple of the sports bras you mentioned Annie66.
