Massaging
Ok, so I am 5 weeks post op now and boobies are doing very well indeed, they seem to be settling and are softening up nicely.
My question is should I be massaging them to encourage them to soften up or will they just do that on their own ?
How many of you did massage and when from ?

Re: Massaging
hi hun
i had an uplift and unders, and when i had my dressings off, i was told by the nurse to just start ''stroking'' them downwards ever so gently, just to encourage them to settle into their pockets. i think if you're really gentle, theres no reason why you can't do it now....justy don't man-handle them yet lol!!!!

Re: Massaging
I was advised by my clinic to massage but only as the implants were being stubborn and sat high and hard, I was told use a firm circular downward motion to encourage the breast to move down.
I wasn't advised massage at all after my 1st BA, but they dropped nicely on their own, so unless it's felt necessary to massage Eastla, I'd leave 'em be and just enjoy 'em! xxx

Re: Massaging
I was told not to massage as I did not need to, but I was told to massage scars with bio oil.

Re: Massaging
I think SH just recommends you massage the scar, not the breast itself - but like you say, you can check with him on Friday.
