Allergan @ HMG

HI Girls,

I have my BA at HMG on 11th May with Dr Malik...however the PIP implants were recalled and i have since been back for re-sizing which has confused the hell out of me!! i'm 5"6 and weigh around 8 1/2 stone...i want to be a full D cup and he has suggested 310cc or 265cc unders...the implant will be an allergan CUI?? can anyone tell me which size wud be best as with PIP he suggested 315cc!!!

The implants should look the same as the PIP would have they just have slightly different measurements as I'm not sure what you are having I'll give you a list
CUI MicroCellTM Textured Cohesive Gel-
Filled Breast Implant, DRIETM Round, High
Profile 310cc/g is 10.7cm width and 5.2cm in projection (they dont have 265cc in this option)
CUI MicroCellTM Textured Silicone Gel-Filled
Breast Implant, DRIETM Round, High Profile 260cc (don't make 265cc that I could find). 10.5cm in width and 4.6cm in projection

I've also had a look at the PIP info I could find and the high profile that I could find was 310cc high profile cohesive gel and that is 11.8cm in width and 4.2cm in projection. I got the info from click here

so the allegan alternatives he is offering the 310 cui's will stick out more but are smaller in width and the 260 are nearer the size in projection the the PIP's.

Hi Misf1 sorry he is offering me 310 or 365 - which is whas worrying me because the jump between sizes seems so big! i want to make sure i dont go to small whilst also not looking ridiculously big...i wish this decision was easier, i cnt decide which wud give me a full D cup!

I see, yes the 310cc is 1cm more in projection than the PIP's and 1cm less in width. What size are you at the moment?
I very much doubt you will look rediculously big, with either size. I felt the same as you when I was choosing my size, I decided I'd rather look a little bigger than spend all that money and be dissapointed, so I chose the biggest I could have, I'm not saying you should though, just saying what I did. I also found I feel my boobs don't look as big as they measure, to me mine look a DD but they measure/fit a 32FF/30G. This isn't the same for everyone others feel they look the size they measure. I think it's our perception of sizes, for example a 30D would be the equivalent of a 36B in bra sizes

I am currently a 34/32 b - and want to be a D, i think because i have a small chest im worried about the shock of being too big! in my mind i want to go for the bigger size, but then i worry about how it might look and i think about going for the smaller one. Do you know why the sizes jump so much and there is no in between?? what cc did u have? mine will be unders!

I was worried too, kept dreaming I'd wake up with 2 footballs on my chest. I'm not sure why they jump up so much. I had 410cc MHP overs

I was a 34 B before my BA and went with the Harley Medical Group.
I'm 5 ft 6 and 9 1/2 stone. I'm currently wearing a 34D Sports Bra and had 300cc Allergan implants, overs. I'm really happy with my size as I wanted to be a D cup so I would go for the 310 but it's entirely up to you!

Thanks juicyluck! did u have allergan CUI high profile implants? i want to achieve a D as a minimum size, so he said the next sizing from 310 wud be 365 which sounds huge! its so confusing cos everyone gets completely different outcomes from each sizing! i dunno if i wud rather be too small or too big! ahhhh its stressing me out xx

Yeah mine were CUI high profile implants!

You should fill a freezer bag up with water to the weight of the two sizes your surgeon has given you and try them in your bra for an idea for size!!!! Or give the Harley a call and see if they've got some actual implants those sizes to try in your bra!

It's such a nightmare isn't it but try not to get too stressed, you will look gorgeous whichever one you decide to go for!

I went with the harley medical group too, 5 days on.
My size implant was meant to be 330 overs & ended up changing to 365 overs, i was 34a now in 34dd sports bra, i'll let u know what size when the swelling goes down. I had initially asked for a C but told i'd prob end up with C to a small D but we'll see, hope this helps

do they feel really big? im only petite and im wrried hat 365 will be too big for my frame!? hope you are feeling well! and conrats on ur new boobies :) - if anyone has any pics i wud appreciate having a peek so i can see sizing differences! xxxx

No not too big at all, just the size i wanted so i hope they don't go down too much. I'm 5'4 & 9st, have'nt took my after pics yet but when i do i'll put them up xxx
