One stubborn hair
Hi ladies,
I have one little hair on the areola area that pops up (it was there pre op) and prior to having my BA, I would just get my tweezers and pluck the hair off. Now this stubborn piece of hair has decided to rear it's head and I would really like to zap it with my tweezers.
I'm over 4 weeks PO now, do you think i'm okay to do this? I mean is it safe to pluck this one stubborn tiny hair from that area?
Thanks girls! x x

Hehe I don't think plucking a hair from your boobie would be an issue at all! Did you have periareolar or crease? As long as it's not right on your incision go for it

I had this in the same area as you FG and I went ahead and plucked it as usual - figured it would be fine as nowhere near my incision. TC x

Thanks hun, I had under the crease incision so I didn't think it would be an issue, but just wanted to check first, I'm a big worrier x x

Ooooo okay I'm not the only one, I'm glad someone else has had this! I thought it would be fine, but just needed to double check as I worry about everything, even a tiny hair
Thanks TC x x

Get that bad boy!
Try and tweezer it as flat to your skin as possible, this ensures the hair doesn't break and that you get the follicle and root, makes it less likely to grow back

It doesn't hurt hun, like BP says if you pluck it flat as close to the skin as possible, it will take it out from the follicle and I'm sure it hurts less. I find that with my eyebrows too. x x

After my post i decided to pluck my eyebrows... somehow managed to sorta grab a bit of eye skin in the tweezers and now have a lovely bruise forming! Think i'll be steering clear of my boobies, cause knowing me, i'll pluck my nipple right off! lol xx
