Stubborn righty!!
Hi girls,
I'm panicking a little. I'm 3.5 weeks PO.
Had a pretty easy time if it so far, taken it easy, using my ice packs etc. All is as was expected.
My left boob has began to fluff and drop and is now quite soft. Really really thrilled with it it looks like a perfectly natural pert breast so that's good. The right one however looks barely any different from 1day PO.
I know it's early and changes are still to come but I'm scared. Thus one has so much upper pole still and is quite a bit bigger than the other one. It's hard and fake looking. Tight too. It's just not dropping. Did anyone else get this delay with one if their boobs? Is it too early to see if cc 3/4 is occurring? It just looks like I have totally different opposing boobs and they don't look like they belong to the same person :(
Any help would be really appreciated!!
Cheers xxxx

Re: Stubborn righty!!
Hun, I have had the same problem with my righty. From the beginning my right one has been a stubborn minx! She has started to settle a little and has started to only now at 7 weeks post op getting softer. It is still early days so try not to panic just yet. They are 2 separate operations and they will heal at different rates. I was getting so worried about mine and in the end I had to ignore them for a few weeks and then I noticed that it was starting to drop a little. I still have to wear my breast band and massage to encourage it to drop and hopefully it will get there in the end. We have to have patience after having a BA babe. Xx

Re: Stubborn righty!!
hi hun,
DON'T WORRY :)
at 3.5 weeks you're still really early in your recovery as you said yourself.
it's important to remember that you essentially had two separate ops, so the healing may well be different in both breasts.
keep doing what you're doing, take it easy, use ice packs when you need them, and take pics of your progress as it's often difficult to spot from day to day.
when is your post op check with your surgeon? you will be able to raise your concerns then if they are still valid but at this point in time i honestly wouldn't worry.
of course if you're really concerned do give your clinic a call, that's what you've got aftercare for xx

Hi Jen, we are a day apart andmy righty is the stubborn one. They have both dropped loads, which I am happy about but right is rock hard and left is going squishy. I wouldn't worry yet and stop looking at them until the 6 week check xx

Re: Stubborn righty!!
Yeah that's what my bf keeps day, just stop thinking about it but I'm so scared of cc or them looking wonky.
I do feel better now though, thanks all. The stubborn one is bigger as well is that normal? Almost like it's still swollen but the other one isn't. Pre op they were exactly the same size.
Yeah all fine Sahara, had a seriously awkward Easter weekend with my nan who was clearly making lots of judgements but trying not to let it show...she failed lol! And some ribbing from the boys but all in jest really so not too bad. Xx

Good I'm glad it's reasonably blown over.
I agree with not looking to much just take your weekly pics and you'll notice the changes.

Re: Stubborn righty!!
It's going to take a lot longer than 3 weeks to see anywhere near the final result, so don't worry. As blue said, 2 Ops, 2 healing rates.Iné played leapfrog for ages, they were never 'even' until about 6m, and tool a good 3m to drop into their pockets. Give it more time. Best thing to do is to stop examining them so closely!

Re: Stubborn righty!!
It took a good 10 weeks for mine to even up Jensk, so 3.5 weeks is nothing babe, although I do know what its like to worry.
It really is very early in your recovery to concerned though. 'Wonky' boobs are a very normal and common part of a BA recovery, so I hope that makes you feel at least a little better. Xx
