Hun it is completely normal how you're feeling - this was my second BA and even sitting on table in anaesthatist room I was on the verge of bursting into tears - you will be fine, trust me and all the staff there will be well used to patients who are nervous and they really will help settle your nerves!!! xxx

Awww Emma firstly
Secondly, what your feeling hun is all very normal, it's just the nerves kicking in, I mean you are only a few days away now. I remember when I was in exactly the same position as you and trust me babe I was feeling EXACTLY the same. The last week was the worse, the closer it got the more worried and stressed I became. I too wanted my boobies so bad but was pertrified of the op.
All I can say is just try and distract yourself as best you can, I remember coming on here a few days before my op very scared and the girls advised me to maybe take a walk and get some fresh air, take a nice hot bath to relax or even read a book. I did all three and it really helped take my mind off things.
Even on the day of the op, I was in a right state with nerves, but deep down I knew that no matter how scared I was I really wanted this and had come so far. I knew that if I didn't do it now, I probably never would and having come this far would have really regretted anything else.
Once I had said goodbye to my OH and walked down to theatre, it all happened so quick hun, one minute your walking down and the next your waking up in recovery, new and all!
You will be absolutely fine hun, take comfort in the fact that most if not all people go through last minute nerves, I certainly had my fair share!

Awwww c'mere you!
It's just nerves sweetness, most of us experience them and weirdly for wanting something so much it's a strange thing to want to run a million miles from it at the last minute isn't it! But it's normal to be feeling that way Emma.
You'll be just fine hunni, if you're feeling afraid, just take a moment to read through all the happiness that fills the breast aug stories, most of those ladies felt just as you do now, but tell a very different story after the op... all really happy and you will be too! xxx

Poor you!! Like kate1977 says, you will be fine. This is uncomplicated elective surgery on a healthy young person. You will be delighted with your new assets. Try and keep busy for now if nothing else, you'll end up with a really clean house to come home to after you have your op!!
I am nervous too and I have almost three months to go!!
Good Luck xx

Hey April buddy....as everyone says, what you are feeling is normal, but can absolutely promise you that you will be fine.
Since I came on here all my posts were about how terrified I was, and I was truly so scared - but on the day, and even without my pre med, I did it lol. Yes I was tearful, but hey, that's ok. What matters is that everyone will do their absolute best to help you through it.....and I can sincerely say now with my hand on my heart Emma, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and it is over before you know it.
Chin up chick - just think, in a few days you will have your long awaited boobs and will likely be posting something similar to this to someone else who is worried about their op. Great big hugs to you petal xx

Hi Emma
Try not to worry! I am feeling the same and as the girls have said try and distract yourself, it sounds like you are doing a great job of doing that atm!
Sending you lots of
On the subject of the pre med my friend had one and she has told me to not have one as she said it can take a bit longer for you to come round afterwards.......I think I may still have one though! Not sure if I will be given a choice though.
Lots of love
Grace

Aww Emma my lovely what you are going through is totally normal. Keep yourself busy with the cleaning etc. before as then when you are recovering you'll be able to literally put your feel up and relax. I found that as much as I was a bag of nerves running up to my ba on the day I was really relaxed.
We're all here for you in these last few days then you'll be on the other side telling us the story and giving the pre-op girls all the reassurance that we're giving you.

Aw hun, I felt exactly the same. Was so scared of the op as I'd never had one before. On the day of the op it was strange I was very calm, I felt a little teary walking down to theatre as I left my then OH on the stairs. But I was fine.
Re: Soooo scared now :( afraid im not gonna do it :(
Awww sweetie ...I felt exactly the same, I faint at anything and was sure I would pass out at some point before making it to the operating theatre, cos I was so scared, I kept pulling myself together only to dissolve into tears again.... I really am the biggest baby out when it comes to needles and operations etc......honestly have fainted watching Casualty !!! if I can do it hunni anyone can .....try and just focus on the end result. xx

Like everyone said it's normal to feel apprehensive what helps me is thinking about how good you will look afterwards a few months down the line in a bikini.
