second opinion?
Hi Girls,
I have written on here a couple of times that i think i had bottomed out with both my inplants. I maesures a 30-32 band size bre-op but didnt even measure a cup size! & had 460 overs in october 09.
At 1st i was very shocked at how high they sat but everyone on here reashored me that they would 'drop' & drop they did! very quickly & by 3 weeks they seemed to had dropped to far.
when i laid flat they sit perfect on my chest & if i go in the bath the the water would lift the implant so i had some nore above the nipple but as soon as i get out if the bath, take my bra off then gravity seem to push most of my implant to below my nipple! I look soooooooo bottom heavy & would never go braless! Dont get me wrong they are not saggy as i have no overhang at all just there is way more implant at the bootom of my boobs.
I had my 3-4 month check with my surgon & todls him i though i had bottomed out. He said that i had a shorter then normal neck to nipple measurement as mine was 19 & its normally arouns 22 he said so thats why they look like the are fuller at the bottom & with gravity pushing on the gell to the bottom of the implant then they will look bottom heavy & also that was the reason my nipple point upwards slightly but he said they look fab & that i was mad to think other wise!
Now after thinking about this over the past 2 months & looking in the mirror i feel that shorly if i had a shorter then normal neck to nipple measurment then he should have taken that into account when making the pocket for my implants & he should have made them higher up so that i would end up looking bottom heavy & normal leveled pointing nipples??????
I just feel its comment sense really & yes maybe i have not 'bottomed' out but i have ended up looking like i have because off bad implant placement???????
The only way they look normal is in a bra & i can get a fab cleverage but as soon as i take it off then i have nothing uptop at all!
Should i get a second app & also can i call transform & ask them for a second surgons app? i dont feel i should have to pay to get a second app bu ti feel this may be the only way to get oa honest answer!
Thanks Crystal x

Re: second opinion?
Very sorry for you
I def think you should do so at least to put your mind at rest..
I don't know so much about bottoming out but the "nipple point upwards" ?
I would't fancy it either..
Doesn't cost to give a ring to transform.
Many cheers

Re: second opinion?
Hiya Crystal,
I'm so sorry you're unhappy with your boobs hun. I'd give Transform a ring and ask for another appointment for a second opinion, especially as it's bothering you so much.
Like you said the surgeon knew you had a shorter neck to nipple measurement, so he should have explained what that meant and what the final result would look like.
Hope you get this sorted hun.
Take care

Re: second opinion?
I certainly wouldn't be happy with your surgeons explanation for the appearance of your breasts Crystal. If your surgeon knew your measurements could possibly result in your breast being bottom heavy then he should have prepared you for this and given you the opportunity to discuss it further with maybe the possibly of a different placement or smaller implant to lessen the chances of it occuring. The fact that your surgeon is very aware of the reasoning but refuses to address it becuase 'he' thinks they are fab is just wrong IMO. you sweetheart have to think your boobs are fab. afterall, you paid for them!
Don't be fobbed off by your PCC either. Explain that you are not happy with your breasts, you've spoken with your surgeon who recognises the problem but still insists you look good - you however don't agree and would like a second opinion. They may suggest you see your surgeon again - If you do, again don't allow him to fob you off, what he writes in your notes babe will be the basis of any decisions that need to be made by head office for a re-op and they will quote him word for word if they can avoid a re-op hun, so stand your ground, state exactly what you feel the problem is and that you would like it correcting.
Good luck Crystal! xx

Re: second opinion?
I agree with cookie, does kind of sound like they are fobbing you off and what you explain in how your breasts sit sounds typical of bottoming out to be honest.
Re: second opinion?
How's it going Crystal? xx Have you asked for a second opinion yet hun? xx
