second opinion?
i have been advised a donut lift by my surgeon
had a 340cc implant placed partialy 4 months ago but still have excess skin and sagging! it looks like db to me but my surgeon has said its a type of contracture.....
do you think it would be to ask my pc for a second opinion? tbh i dont think she would be very keen on the idea

Re: second opinion?
Hunni,
I wouldnt worry about the pc not being happy about it... they are your boobies and you paid good money to have them look right. YOu have every right to a second opinion and I would definately push for one if thats what you want.
Just out of curiosity, if it is some sort of contracture like your ps has said how will a donut lift help?
good luck x

Re: second opinion?
i know! that's exactly what i thought....
I'm almost certain i have db (waterfall effect, when your skin/tissue slides of the implant) but not sure if he is just crap and doesnt know or he doesnt want to admit the db as that will be more to do with his error?....
you think other surgeons in the same clinic will give you an honest opinion?
also will my ps know?
or.... should i go see someone else, there is a very good surgeon that lives not too far from me but it costs £150 for the consultation! but on the plus pont he write/send you a letter giving his recomendations...
thanks for replying

Re: second opinion?
I would definitely get a second opinion. I would treat this as a new surgical procedure and ask around to a clearer idea of what is actually going on with your breasts and what is best for them and you.

Re: second opinion?
thanks ladies.... im afraid he will find out if i see another ps in my clinic and be pi$$ed with me, he has said he will do the revision free so if i cause a fuss he might change his mind?....
i have spoken to the lovely james over the last few months and he also thinks a donut lift would be a good idea and that its db i have and def not any type of contracture....
you think i should pay the £150 quid to see another surgeon, im soooo skint at the mo though, christmas and four kids is expensive!
or does anyone know anywhere you can get free consultations, im in edinburgh...
thanks in advance

Re: second opinion?
It's not too hard, easier than on the other site to upload and protect. I think most girls on here with pics use it then if they have pictures for people to see then they give out the username and password. if you want to See mine to See how it works, go on the website and log in as me, same username as here and same password as the one I sent you on the other site x
