Swelling in one breast Empty Swelling in one breast

Post by Mistydinlv 29th March 2010, 9:01 pm

Hi girls, I'm new to the group and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I'm 17days post BA. I have 600cc round smooth submuscular. I was a 34 B and my left breast was slightly larger then my right. Well after the BA my left is still high n swollen looking. My right is doing great n looking n feeling good. The left is tender and bigger looking even tho it's 520cc and my right is 600cc. I've been icing it and started the massaging 4 days ago. Anyone else have a breast that was bigger at first? I'm worried I'm going to have 2 different size boobs! It's weird that the smaller implant is the one that looks larger.

They can be all different sizes after your BA and for quite some time. Each breast is a different operation, so one may have needed more work done on it which is why it is more swollen for the moment. It's really early days try not to worry

So I saw my PS this morning and he said it's just normal swelling. He said each breast can respond to surgery trauma differently and for me not to worry. So I guess for now I jus keep doing the ice packs 2 times a day and massage the left breast a lil bit longer than the right.

Glad you've had some reassurance Misty. I along with lots of the ladies here have had one boobie bigger than the other for a time too hun. these boobies love to play mean tricks on our minds I think before they decide to bloom and become the beauties we eventually have! LOL

Hi,

My left breast as well is swollen with alot of pain and the right breast no pain, no swelling.
I've been worried about it, the PS is not. I'm 19 days today, can't wait for them to look the same.
I wish I would of gone bigger, I'm 450cc, your breast look nice, 600cc sounded so big, but you look great.
