Re: May Buddies!
Girls,
I've read AdrianneSamuella's post about how much pain she's in. I'm starting to think that only booking a week off work was a mistake... Do you think I'll need longer?

Re: May Buddies!
That's good that your op can still go ahead tomorrow bumblelady, just hope everything works out ok for you. At least if your surgery is early it will be all over and done with quicker.
Some people seem to recover quicker faye. I was told I should be ok to go back to work after 10 days but booked 2 weeks off just to be on the safe side. It also depends what sort of job you have as to how soon you can or are able to go back to work.

Re: May Buddies!
I can't describe how I feel at the moment bumblelady, I have been through the nervous stage but I am not really feeling excited, it's weird! I keep feeling sick at the thought of it and I just can't wait for the day to be over! It still doesn't even feel real to me yet, strange! Hope you are feeling ok about tomorrow and not feeling too nervous? I will be thinking about you tomorrow.

Oh dear try not to stress out too much, it will just make you more tense. Yeh it is hard when you hear all the scary pain stories but it will all be worth it in the end! Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight with all the worrying.

Re: May Buddies!
Hi Hun
Yes it can be painful, but it's not high level pain, it's all bearable with painkillers and soon passes. I'm on day 7 post op and I really am almost back to my normal self, I haven't touched a painkiller since day 3.
You'll be fine honest and the GA is a breeze.
Good luck and try to enjoy xxx

Re: May Buddies!
I had my first dream about having surgery last night - it wasn't an awful dream like a nightmare but its obviously playing on my mind a little else I owuldn't be dreaming about it. Only 5 days to go, so I guess it's to be expected really.
Has anyone else had dreams about their surgery before the event?
I'm still veering between excited and impatient. Really want it over and done with now so I can get on with the healing.
Good luck today Bumble, guess you are probably there now xx
