Hi there ladies :wavey:

Ive been thinking tonight about when i have my op and after how long it will most likely b before i can lift my 6month old?
My husband is having 1 week off work but will actually total 9 days, but getting a little worried that i prob wont be able to look after my baby properly.
I have been told not to lift him in the first week is this right or is it normally a bit longer?

Thanx xx

Am in same position as you hun - I've got 5 1/2 month old , 3 and 4 year old too!! My husband only off for 7 days in total and then I'll have the school runs too!! - Am gonna leave car seat in the car to save carrying the weight of that and just carry my son to that instead. My surgeon said will be alright to pick him up after 2 - 3 days from cot etc just no holding above chest height for a while!! As long as can comfort him and feed him am sure he will be fine. U will work something out that will suit you don't worry How soon would i be able to lift my 6month old ??? 184153
