First day of wearing a proper bra.....
and it feels so weird!
I'm not sure if its because i haven't worn an underwire for so long or because they are just sooooooo much bigger but it just feels so strange, ha, ha!
Did anyone else feel like this?

Re: First day of wearing a proper bra.....
I don't know about feeling bigger, I did feel ummm.... sexier though.
10 weeks I was stuck in my sports bra and each time I caught a look at myself in the mirror wearing it, I turned myself right off!

Re: First day of wearing a proper bra.....
I think it's because the sports bras kind of compress them so in 'normal' bras they are bigger well mine seem that way lol...

Yeah, I thought it felt weird when i first started wearing proper bra's again-i think because the wires kinda fitted against me differently as i actually had summat to put in my bra other than fillets!

Re: First day of wearing a proper bra.....
yes i wore my first underwire on Monday and a) it feels kind of uncomfortable compared to the comfy sports bras iv been wearing 24/7 and b) my god the bra straps dig in when they are actually hoisting something up... before bras were merely an accessory worn to make me look bigger, not scaffolding like they are now! I haven't yet been measured/fitted though - finding it hard to find anywhere you can just walk in for a fitting nowadays you seem tohave to book appointments!

Hattie i really think you need to get measured/fitted for a bra! Your straps shouldn't be digging in... If I remember right the girl who did me (fitted my bra) lol said it was the band which did the supporting not the straps... anyway I think that when you get measured/fitted you will find your wearing the wrong size.. sorry for sounding all mumsie

Re: First day of wearing a proper bra.....
haha thats ok jet350 i knew someone was going to say i need to get fitted and i do! I have a friend qualified in bra fitting so i might drag her shopping with me and have apersonal fitting service in every shop! i have to say I am sort of putting it off a bit though im already feeling like they are too big wearing Ds i think i might be quite upset if i find out i was any bigger! I know its not about the measurements but its just taking quite a bit of getting used to
