Proper bra help
So i went to try & buy another vra today - bought 2 in boux avenue the other week - tried victoria's secret which apart from being disgustingly expnsive for not amazing bras they only went up to a DD, new look wasn't that helpful or any other high street shop really. Went into boux avenue but nothing new caught my eye enough to want to buy it. Any other recommendations?
I had a bit of a strop, went & bought some make up & took myself home :-/ x

Re: Proper bra help
Try John Lewis Hun, my local one did a fitting for me and they were really helpful and friendly, not a huge choice but did have some pretty ones in. I also found debenhams to have nice ones in too xxx

Boux have a sale on at the mo so they will have new stock in soon. They sell more online, you can order then collect from the shop. Xxx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] I love the points bit! I get the feeling it'll be my go-to shop from now on & the last 2 times i've shopped there i've got money off because of it - so handy! Thank you!! It's still so bizzare to me that they look like that! It's a completely non-padded bra! Really thin material & no underwires. I LOVE having boobs!!! :dance:Xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] it'll be your turn for this bit in no time! I'm actually generally still spending a lot of time in a sports bra - i work in sportswear anyway & they're just so comfy to be in all day. How are you getting on?xx

Re: Proper bra help
Yeh guess it's easier and Comfier during the day to be in sports style bra's. Iv Jst started wearing them belvia bra's cos there so comfy and soft.
Still going braless most of the time, but im seeing my PS next Sunday so hoping he says I'm now ok to wear bra's all the time. Still feel tender, skin feels sunburnt and numb in patches. But, feeling more mobile and sleeping better.
Hope your doing well, you've ended with a lovely result

Re: Proper bra help
Glad you managed to find something & all the better that you managed to save some money too!
As you're healing progresses bras start to fit better & as others have said you can pick up some nice ones in John lewis & Debenhams too where they also cater for the larger cup sizes.
2+ years post op I still wear a sports bra for work as supportive & comfy being in a physical job.

Re: Proper bra help
Online going to be your best bet, highstreet stores tend to only stock you're standard 32-40A to D. You'll find stores will have a bigger ranger online, but it means you'll have to buy a few sizes and try them on. New Look do tend to have some nice ones in bigger sizes online.
I love Anne summers. Not so much the 'come to bed' stuff, but their regular stuff is the comfiest I've found. Department stores tend to have a lot, House of Fraser, Debenham, and most of them you can order instore for sizes.

Wait til you get a nice wired one on. Boobs look amazing in a wired bra. When they become soft they are more plyable xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i hot a couple from boux avenue when i got the all clear & i LOVE them! Just wanted a few more as rotating 2 while trying to have a social life during the rugby off season has been tricky.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] i think you're right. I love boux avenue anyway & they had so many more stules to choose from online. Xx

Re: Proper bra help
Fieaves is good, obviously you can't try them on but the selection is massive and they have reviews where other girls give an indication if how the sizing is, I've bought loads from there. Also although their measuring service isn't great the Rosie collection at m&s is gorgeous, does pretty non wired and goes higher than a dd xx

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] thank you! I may just have spent a bit on the L'Agent website as well - definately worth a bosey if you're after some fancy stuff & they have a sale on at the moment so just paid £18 for what should have been a £45 bra! They're the slightly less posh Agent Provocateur line xx

Re: Proper bra help
My fav's so far for 'proper bra's are Boux and Debenhams. I do need to go shopping for more this weekend though as I only have two!! I have a plain t-shirt bra from Debenhams which is a bit ugly but just a decent under clothes bra. Then a sexier but still comfy Jasper Conran bra from Debenhams. Highly recommend as it's quite a round cup bra so ideal for implants!
