Getting scared now!! Empty Getting scared now!!

Post by stef 4th March 2009, 10:08 am

I'm getting really scared now of the needle they are going to use when putting me to sleep. I can't believe how soft I'm being. It's due to bad experience with blood tests and now i'm terrified! I was wondering is it worth me asking the anaethetist to put me out with gas first??

Hey hun, Iam having BA today (aaargh it's unbelievable, I think it still hasn't sunk in!) and i am definitely going to ask if they can use gas if possible. I don't have a phobia of needles but I wasnt to avoid any unpleasantness. If you have a phobia they should definitely use gas so tell them!

Yeah I know i just saw it on the calendar so wished u good luck!! what size u going to approx and what size now? I'm 32b at mo hoping to go to 32E/F (as I dont want to be disappointed, they went huge after the irth of my 2nd child!) but still unsure on what size implants would take me to that. Who you having it done with? xxx Are the nerves as you imagined building up to it today? x

hey hun, I am an empty 32 A at the mo and hope to be a full C, don't wanna be huge as I am quite slim and just want to be in proportion. I'm going with Mya and the surgeon is Mr Adamo. Not sure about what size implants you would need but your surgeon will be able to tell you!
You know what, I am not even nervous yet, I think it will sink in once I am at the hospital, at the moment i feel like I am just having a day off work it's like it's happening to sombody else!! Weird - I think it's a trick of the mind so I don't stress too much...

It definately hurt more having blood taken hun, its really a little scratch. I hate blood being taken too but i was fine with this as you have so many emotions rushing through you plus the nurse and anaethetist are great at distracting you, you dont even notice it and 10 seconds later you're out! xxx

Hiya hun, i hate needles too! And like you, have had horrendous trouble in the past with blood tests and i have had to have a lot!!! They can never find my veins, apparently something to do with being a red head??? Anyway, the needle in yur hand is nothing hunnie! Tell them you are nervous as i di and i was so distracted by one of the other theatre team talking to me that i didnt even know he had done it!! I thought he was still just holding my hand!

Honestly you will be fine babe xx
