need reop for bottoming out!
oh dear,
I thought this was happening, scar has moved up my breast and i have no natural crease in my breast. Strange sensation going on underneath and skin very tight when i lift my arms. Also the projection has gone and there is not much going on above the nipple but plenty going on underneath and as the implant is sitting lower that my scar my boobs look too low down on my chest, I feel so sick.
As you can see from the info under my name i have already had a few ops. I emailed my ps last night and he emailed me straight back and then his secretary rang me and said to ring her today and they would make me an appointment, was impressed esp as it was a bank holiday. Anyway hubby and I went to see him today and he said it is bottoming out and he is not happy either and they are his boobies too so he wants it to be right. Am booked in for 1st April which will be 6 months after my original op.
As I have been through this a few times I am sick with worry that it will never be right. But I do trust him was terrified about going but he was so reasurring and kind to me. I go back to see him in Feb and we will go through everything he will do. He has explained but said he will go through it step by step for me.
Because of the bottoming out underwire bras are uncomfortable so i am stuck in sports bras until April
At least I had no hassle in getting sorted, which is something i suppose.

Re: need reop for bottoming out!
both. I love this site, i am on others but this seems to be the only one where you can post if you are unhappy and still get support.
Sta I noticed probably about the same time as you 3-5 weeks post op, i kept saying to my OH but he said it was fine, the worrying part was when he said he could see what i mean. Scary but it gave me the strength to do something about it. Did see my ps just before Christmas and mentioned it (went back because of some loose skin) he said the skin would need to be nipped and he could see what I mean but to keep my eye on it, was due to go back in January but over Christmas couldnt wear an underwired bra and ended up not being able to put a dress on I had bought so got worked up and emailed him
Its a horrible feeling isnt it? and the only way it can be corrected is to have a reop, though he says I will be a day case, sending you a big , keep me posted about what your ps says.
misf1 I will def let everyone know what he says, he did say that he will reopen the underneath scar (i had full mastopexy) and he will have to re stitch the internal pocket and nip it so it is tight and sticks to my ribs again and then tighten up the outside scar (pocket) so that my loose skin is gone and there will be a crease again that my scar will sit into. But he will go into more detail in Feb.
Thank you again

Oh hunni, I really feel for you
Hopefully this will be your last op to put everything right! Good news though that you've had no problems arranging the further surgery! xxx

Re: need reop for bottoming out!
Gosh you've been through it too haven't you. Glad you've got a date for your reop but it must be scary to think about going through it again. You sound like you're in safe hands with your ps.
Keep in touch honey xx

Thank you all for your support. It really means a lot, and I agree about my ps as reading other posts i can see that some people have a lot of trouble when things are not right.

Re: need reop for bottoming out!
Maybe ask your ps about switching to unders as this will help prevent you bottoming out again as the muscle helps hold up the implant, best of luck with your revision hun xBumbleBee48 wrote:Nads I have overs, 420cc mod low prof.
