update on reop

Hi all so seen my surgeon yesterday and it was a good meeting woohoo

things are changing and looking good, my right def dropped some more according to measurements and tbh I kinda thtought that it had too and the right is not as hard as it was

so after a long discussion (just over an hour, people in the waiting area did not look impressed when I came out lol) we have came to the out come that i will keep the implants that I have, unless they need to be changed due to the CC, lower the implants and release the muscle then send me on my merry way lol, the changes have def improved the look of my boobs and if they were that tiny but lower and sitting in the right position and nipples not pointing down id be happy

there was still the option of chaging implants and lowering the crease etc but cause they are getting there on their own then we dont want to do unnessesary surgery etc etc

got bloods taken yesterday and get results Monday fingers crossed they are getting better with the meds

the only bad outcome is that ive to wear a compression bad for 4 weeks!!! ad also no bra, well he doesnt want them supported during recovery, so I can wear crop tops etc but not sports bra unless its one that helps them be pushed down

so yeah all in all a good day

however, just as I left I got a letter in the post and Ellies next surgery is in the diary for 6h Dec, 11 days after my surgery!! so we need to speak to her surgeon on tues and see how important this op is, 1. cause if she has it she wont be up and about on xmas day and 2. so taht I know whether my surgery needs to be moved to Jan or ellies can be in Jan

Hope little Ellie's surgery isn't urgent hun. You'll probably be fine 11 days post-op regardless babe... Remember there's little surgery time. All the hard work has already been done so you'll be just fine... But I hope she's well enough for Christmas bless her. She's at that lovely age isn't she when Christmas is soooo magical. Xx

Thanks cookie but looking at double spica cast again so she will need lifted etc to do anything so fingers crossed her hips not popped out too much and the hip bone they created is still string and not crumbling away. Find out tues. Enjoy your hol!!! xxx

Ohhhh bless her. I think I've said before my own son went through similar as a child so feel your pain hun and there DEFINITELY no way you'd cope with that

yeah i remember you saying thats why I said too lol as you know it all very hands on and she would need to be in a pram again for the length of the time the cast is on which can be 6 month to a year, im hoping that the limp she has and the pain is just the hemihypertrophy (once side of her body is slightly bigger than the other) so then it will mean no cast which means we can concentrate on her scoliosis and get her back brace fitted for night time, but id prefer neither til after xmas so that she can enjoy it as she is so excited this year and cant wait for santa to come

but we will see tomorrow thats if she lies for the MRI scan lol if not she will get slightly sedated but that mean she is more relaxed xx

thanks cookie im hopeful this time, you will know yourself you just know dont you before you go to any of these appointments, I know for sure she needs to back brace but REEEEAAALLLYYY praying she dont need to cast xx
