weight training
hi ladies
as im a keen gym goer i understnd i will not be able to do any exercise for 6 weeks, im hoping after this i can start my cardio training in the morning to shed the excess pounds ill be gaining and then later return to the gym to do a weight training workout.
does anyone know if doing chest and back exeercises will effect my implants?
i dont expect ill be doing these after 6 weeks anyway as ill still be in the very early days of recovery and dont want to hinder my new boobies in any way! lol
if there is any ladies out there that lift weights if they could advise
thanks
kerry xx

Re: weight training
I was told by my surgeon that after the 6 weeks to just take it asy and build it up slowly. Obviously not pushing yourself. I am planning on going back them gym after christmas when I will be 9 weeks PO, just to be safe. I will be doing combat and body pump with cardio aswell. I will work myself back up to weight training xxx

Re: weight training
Hi :wavey:
I started running again after about 8 weeks and then slowly built up the weights that I was lifting and that worked fine xx I was back to where I had been pre op in no time at all xx
Apparently the average person gains 5lb at Christmas, think I gained that this weekend just gone lol...........

Re: weight training
haha!! yeah i can easily gain 5lb in a weekend, i went on a cruise in november and gained 10lbs in a week, i even used the gym on the boat as well!! lol
i was a tad worried about what kinda state my body is going to be in with having my opp not being able to exercise and eating plenty of nice foods over crimbo!
i know how much hard work it can be to lose weight and tone up etc so going to "try" and not make too much work for myself so hopefully will be easier to get back into shape when im all good and ready! xx
