Sleeping Upright...
Hi girls
Can those of you who have had your BA's done clarify whether sleeping upright means sitting up or just your head neck and shoulders elevated?
Many thanks

yup- head neck and shoulders elvated- I slept more upright the first few nights- now I am just using an extra pillow and one to the side in case I roll.
I haven't had any trouble sleeping after day 3 :)

Hi Kelli
I was leant back against four pillows and it was pretty comfy! so not bolt up right but propped up bout 45 degrees.. it really isn't that bad!! new boobs make it all worth while hun!!!!!!!! its also easier bum shuffle to get up this way, laid flat is a killer trying to get up !!

Re: Sleeping Upright...
I was bolt upright in hospital for the first night - I asked the nurse what angle I should put the bed too and she moved it up! not back!! It was horrible - but it was because I had drains in I think. Since then Ive been told 45 degrees, but to be honest I cant lay any flatter anyway - its too uncomfortable. So before BA I was dreading having to sleep on my back (I always sleep on my right side) and wondering how long it would have to be for. Now I realise its for as long as it takes for boobs to become comfortable laying flat. God knows when I will be able to sleep on my right side again - right boob is very painful at the moment :-(
