Oh hun, I'm sure you look fab. Would you mind if I took a peek? I had 380 overs (no uplift though).
How long ago was it that you had your BA and uplift? xx

Oh TFB, I think it's natural to think those thoughts... it's so hard to know what to expect but I bet they look great. Can I have a look too and let you know what I think? xxx

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
I can see why you are disappointed, they do look quite a bit smaller than your pre op boobs. I think once they have dropped you will see an improvement, but I would definitely air your concerns with the company that did them, so should after a while you feel no better about them then you can say that they were not what you were expecting and you may be able to get a reop. I think it also helps your case that you weren't advised that you definitely needed an uplift until the day of the op, so the surgeon obviously didn't make sure that you knew what you were expecting, crossed wires maybe, but its still his job to manage your expectations. I'm sorry I'm not coming back at you saying 'what are you talking about they're huge'.

Thanks for letting me have a look... I do think it's early days still hun but I can understand your disappointment. As SB said, you should voice your concerns to your surgeon as he may be able to tell you if they will look different with a bit more time. I personally think you look very much in proportion now but I don't know if that was the result you were hoping for. I'm sure the other will be along with their thoughts and advice too hun. Big hugs

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Hi TFB
Like Kellie and SB said I too can see why you are disappointed and I would phone the company who did them and request to see them to discuss your disappointment and like SB said the fact that the uplift was not mentioned until the day of your op therefore you were not explained to properly hat this would mean and any implications on size etc.
I think there are some changes to come and they may drop and look slightly bigger, but I understand completely where you are coming from. xxx

Hey hun, I'm so sorry you are disappointed. In this case I think it's definitely a good idea to speak with your surgeon - but I cant imagine how your boobs could actually look smaller with a bigger implant in there? Was it because of taking away extra skin?
Please may I have a look at your pics so I can give my honest opinion? xx

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Hey hun...
Did your surgeon give you any idea on the resulting cup size?
Firstly, I think they look great babe, although like you say, they do look considerably smaller than your pre op breasts...
I'm no expert though, this is very early days after your surgery and when they drop, they may well fill out, like yourself though, I've no experience of uplifts...
Like others have said though, I'd definately arrange to have a chat with your surgeon about your concerns, make sure you emphasise that you weren't given the opportunity to discuss in detail an uplift at your consultation and this was only brought up in the hospital right before you were scheduled to have your surgery, I'm not sure whether or not you had an opportunity then to discuss sizing, but be clear in how that went too and be sure ALL of what you say and his response is written down, get him to repeat back to you what he has written...
I say this sweetness because if you do go for a re-op, then what is written in those notes will be crucial in their decision on whether to operate and whether they will foot the costs... if you can be clear that they were at fault from the onset then it will be plain sailing hun... but please take my advice and make sure EVERYTHING you want is written down and repeated back to you. xxxx

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
ok thanks cookie my surgeon was quite adiment he was doing the right thing by me but he said to me you wont be able to go to big with an uplift so i said " as long as im not smaller" and he said "oh no you wont be smaller". is it done to the surgeon or the company about a reop as i think the surgeon will say no even the nurse said today that this nparticular surgeon is allways more reserved, i thought great why didnt they tell me this before i am devastated x x

Your contract is with the company babe and not with the actual surgeon, if you complain the company look at your notes and make a decision from there, that's why I stressed you make your words very plain and direct in what you hoped could be achieved and be sure to say that you were reassured by your surgeon that there would be no difference in sizing, stand your ground too as your surgeon may think differently, so don't back down....
Hopefully things will go smoothly for you hun, but best fore-warned I think so you can prepare what you need to say... xxx
Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Thanks for letting me see hun - I think they are a lovely size and shape. Maybe they do look slightly smaller than before, but I think they will be a big improvement on what you had before. I do think you did the right thing by going for the uplift. I think maybe they just look smaller because they're higher up on your chest. You will only really know when you start to wear proper bras. Definitely go back to see your surgeon/company though - it's their job to manage your expectations and it seems at this time they have not managed to do so.
Good luck hun xx

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
thanks cookie do you know how long these things take and if they said yes do you think they would let me have a diffrent surgeon anyone who knows me allways relates to me as beeca boobs i feel like i lost a bit of my fun personality i know people prob think im overreacting but its just how i feel, my two yr old has got cancer in his eyes hes had chemo and one eye has been removed so i feel so shallow to get upset over something i paid for and brought on myself this reop was suppose to be a pick me up cos of all the cancer stuff but its turned into a nightmare x

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Hiya
Would it be ok to have a look?
Im so sorry you are so unhappy.
I had a change of implant (went smaller) and uplift 5 weeks ago. Could they look smaller because they are sitting different due to the uplift, I wanted to go smaller and they look smaller but bra size hasnt gone down as much as i hoped so they must be bigger than they look but because they sit different they look smaller.
your not shallow at all dont be hard on yourself, you have a right to be upset if your not happy, you cant help it if you feel down about it so dont beat yourself up. Maybe everything else you are coping with is making it harder too.
Sending you a big hug

forgot to say too, that over the last two weeks they have dropped and got much fuller. An uplift can make them take longer to drop and settle into their full positon and size. xx

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Thanks for letting me look, so sorry your so upset, i think i would be too, not because they arent a good shape and size, because they are, just compared to before they do look a tad smaller, you had a fab size before.
i agree with the others tho, they will drop, soften and appear bigger, im sure this isnt permanent, just try relax.
i felt so dissapointed when i first seen mine, defo get in touch with the company, but try not be so hard on yourself, try and look after yourself in the mean time, they are guna change loads

Hiya
tutti, had a look at your pic and they do look a bit smaller but i do wonder if it is because they are sitting higher due to the uplift. At the moment you can see the scars and stitches underneath, you could see mine at first but as they have settled the implant has dropped into the bottom of the breast and the scar underneath is very much hidden. That doesnt mean my boobs look saggy or are sitting on my ribs, they arent they are pert looking but the scar is hidden. They look fuller now at the bottom that when i had them first done.
Also you have been bandaged up tight which may make them feel squashed and flatter, mine where.
If your really not happy speak to the company and dont be put off, though they will make you wait for a few months to see how they will settle. Its hard to see how a smaller implant will make you smaller in the long run when everything has settled.
In an uplift they usually remove loose skin, not fat, they dont usually touch that as it gives the breast a more natural look with the implant.

So sorry you're feeling like this - sometimes with an uplift you do lose a couple of sizes so that may explain why smaller even with a bigger implant. I would def take this up with the company!! Can I have a look at your pics?xx

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Tutti,
I think they look amazing for the short time its been since your major op.........
The shape is fantastic, and they are going to drop and fill out yet, and in my pathetic opinion if I were a bloke I would want to play with those much more than your old one huni!
But I am not a bloke, and being a post oper myself I do sympathsise with your feelings, but I know how high and tight mine were in these first few weeks, I was 32AA pre ba had to wear a 34 band size post op, now 9 weeks on I have just been measured at my local lingerie boutiuque and been sized at 30 band and between a c & D cup..
give it time, just a little time, its ok to write to the company and put your comments down but it is VERY early days, and I never expected to be a C or even a D cup with 240 implants, yet I am, as mine are dropping and softening they are filling out and right now your body is adjusting to the major overhaul it has been given..
Write to your surgeon, express your views, but sit back and give it a few weeks and see if over that time period you begin to feel 'fuller' again, if not then you can take it up with the company and move forward..

Re: new pics bandages off, they are too small
Hiya
I asked my ps about size reduction with uplift and he said at the most the loss would only be 1/2 a cup size as they dont take tissue just loose skin.
My friend had an uplift last year, no ba and she is still in the same bra size, her daughter had the same and says they are abit smaller but she is in the same size bra, so the uplift should not make any real difference to the size of the breast just how they sit.
With an uplift though it does take a little longer for things to settle into place.
