Re: bandages
My nurse just pulled the Tapes off, quite quickly , just like having a wax I suppose. Do you think you could be allergic to the bandages/tape? How are they looking anyway?

Re: bandages
When you get it taken off they will be as gentle as possible, the area can be a bit numb anyhow but they should use antiseptic wipe and carefully rub it off that way doing a little bit each time. Till it just comes off xx

Re: bandages
I never had bandages ... i just woke up with my support bra on! Mad how different surgeons have different ways of doing things, i never had drains either.
Maybe you could ring your nurse just to check everything is ok? esp if you think you may be allergic, it will put your mind at rest.
Im sure you will be fine though honey x

Re: bandages
I agree with tiny hun, if your skin feels sensitive and sore and has redness underneath it, it may be best to call the clinic so they can take a look for you I case you're allergic. Xx

Re: bandages
Sounds like a blister hun. You should contact your clinic first thing Monday for them to check the dressings. It could just be that the dressings have rubbed the skin and caused it, or it could be an allergy. Don't panic though lol. Just contact your clinic as soon as you can. Or you could call the hospital for advice too. they should have given you a contact number. Xx
