Blimey, apart from seeing my PS the morning after the BA, I don't see him until 17th of this month. Saw my nurse for check up (when i broke down) but that was it lol.

I was going to drive down to M&S to get measured; I know it's really too soon, but this 34e is really uncomfortable :( Problem is my car is stuck in the effin snow... so can't go anywhere!!

Only 121 days til yer hols... I know this as it's only 122 til mine lol.

Hey girls hope you're all well.

Yipee I've got the day of work...the school where I work is closed.

It's snowing like crazy here. Looks good from the window..but crap if you have to go out in it.
My cat won't even go out, he just sits on the window ledge looking out.

I'm on a bit of a downer today. Went to see my surgeon on Monday, he removed my dressings and said everything looked good and that I could leave them undressed and bath etc as normal. I was so pleasedI could have a normal bath, it was the first thing I did when I got in.
Then when I was drying myself I noticed one of my incisions was weeping. Well I was so upset, I rang the hospital back but surgeon had already gone home...so I spoke to the sister on the ward...she said that as long as it wasn't yellow pus that it should be fine, she thinks I've probably knocked the scab off it. She told me to put another dressing on and leave it a couple of days and it should be fine. The problem is I can't get back to them because of the snow. I'm constantly checking myself now to see if I'm leaking anywhere.

Hope you manage to get your boobies measured Cherry...and I hope you're pleased with the measurement. Love the new name by the way.

I'm off to take all my xmas decs down now.

Well I'm fuming.... managed to dig car out and drive very slowly down to M&S - the bra fitting lady isn't there as she's got kids and is having to stay at home due to the schools being closed!

How inconsiderate

Oooh have ya! We have more snow scheduled this afternoon/evening. Oh and the schools are closed again tomorrow, but I'm able to go to work so no worries there!

Oh Alfie... bless ya hun. I can just imagine how that made you feel... Just chillax as my Sean would say and keep a wee eye on things. Like the nurse said, was probably just a wee scab you pulled.

As you will see from above, I've not got them measured, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr lol.

the boobies are ok so far so good, had a shower when i got home from work last night went tobend over to pick my razor up and thye felt like they were going to fall off! haha as much as i hate sports bra's i dont feel safe without one on! haha!

hey alfie, lucky you getting the day off work, i hope they are paying you, if my place sent me home for the snow im sure we wouldnt get paid for i the tight sods! lol
sorry to hear about your incisions weeping, try another dressing on them, it might be just because you have had your dressings off and had a bath which has softned the scap etc, keep your dressing on for a few days, hopefully they will have dried up by then.

NO! lol... I live in what feels like at times 'Hicksville', there's feck all here lol.

LOL.... Even now when I am in the shower/bath I intend on having a long bathe but in the end I rush so I can get my clean steri-strips back on and sports bra on, I don't know if I'll ever be without it haha!

LOADS of snow here now!!

Hey Cherry can I ask you how long you have to keep putting the steri strips on for. I just feel like mine scars should still be covered up, but surgeon said they're fine left bare. I'm gonna leave this dressing on for a couple of days and then if it's no better I'll ring hospital back for advice.

Hey Kerry I will get paid for today. They closed all the schools in this area so it wasn't my fault I couldn't go in work. How's your healing going hun?

healing is going well, so far so good, i had strapping after my opp and had to waer it for a week, the nurse had to take this off them i was to wear my sports bra's for support, the nurse re applied my steri stip after she had taken the strapping off and i only had to wear this for 5 days then after that soak in the bath i was to remove them, ive had no steri strips on for 2 days now and have just been advised to keep my scars clean and dry.

how long have you been advised to keep using steri strips for hun? xx

snows getting worse here maybe ill be lucky enough to stay at home tomoz! haha

I have to keep applying my SS's fro 3 months! Mrs Kat believes that it holds the scar together which creates a better scar makes sence but 3 months!!!! its like the sports bra for 3 months as well!!! bloomin jesus pops !!! x

Cherry - Forgot to say pls don't mention my boobies or the fact i have had IVF on Face book as most of my friends don't know. I know in time they will about my boobies but the IVF is a mega secret x

Hmmmm see I think 3 months is a tad excessive. After my shower last night I didn't put any steri-strips on and they feel much better today. I think the steri-strips were actually irritating the scars as the incision is 100% ok.

Ya know... I'm gonna 'double check' just to be sure lol.

i think maybe letting some air get to the incisions would help them heal surley?
my steri strips were on for just under 2 weeks and they are feeling better since they were removed, scars still look a little lumpy though, im just hoping they smooth out xx

boobies are feeling a little heavy today, thought i was over that phase of it all but they feel like a lead weight! lol good job im sitting down else id topple over! haha

i had full strapping on for 7 days which included steri strips under this, once the nurse removed the strapping she then replaced the steri strips and advised me to keep these on for 5 days after that i was told to have a long soak in the bath to remove them, then was told just to keep them clean and dry and never to touch them

Yeah that's what I was told... I think me mind is playing tricks with me lol.

Ya know the same happened to me yesterday, I had to suddenly hold them and was like "JESUS MARY N JOSEPH" hahahaha...

I'm grand... Went along to work this morning and as most of our clients were closed today, we were sent home at 1030 (just me and my office manager made it in lol).

Walking back home and there I was minding my own business.. Well, feck me, went to cross what used to be a road (can't see it) and I stood in waist high snow

It looks lovely and it's great to see the kids having fun, but it aint practical lol.

We've had snow here for over 3 weeks now, I'm starting to think I live in Alaska, minus the gorgeous dudes though lol.

Cuppa then movie time :)

our snow isnt as bad as yours, weve only had it for 2 days, the suns out now so hopefully will melt some of it!
quite a few of us made it into work this morning but we are pretty quiet, still wont send us home though.
drove my car for the first time today, was ok but i cannot get it in reverse gear, it pulls all down my arm and across my chest too much, had to get a work colleague to park it for me! LOL

hello ladies sorry not been on here in ages just caught up on all the gossip!

this will make you laugh.... I had steri strips on for one week under my dressings and strap and the nurse took it all off in one go and said you need to wear a clean sports bra every day for 6 weeks and thats it!!!! I honestly think they make it up as they go along!!! three months seems very ott but who knows. my scars look fine healing up well but not had a bath yet, just take a quick shower and dry em off.


glad you're all doing well and sorry not to be on here more but I am feeling ace and loving the boobies, still a bit twingy in the righty but god I love my boobies!!!!

I think you are right... certainly kinda one extreme to the next; so defo just make it up as they go along hahahah...perhaps they select it from a hat, or have one of them 'doom balls' that they shake lol.

Hey Girls hope you all ok?

Im looking for some advice!!! I havent havd any probs with my boobies at all untill now. I started back work this week and have come down with a cold. Yesterday i was coughing and sneezing alot and last night my left boob was soo sore that i could barely move my arm. I didnt go to work today as i dont feel well and there is no redness or anything like that. It feels alittle better today but still sore!!!

Have i damaged somthing or just strained my muscle????? as i had partial unders

Help am really worried x
