Hey Helena!
Awww huni, to me; it does sound like you've just pulled/strained a muscle, but for extra reassurance I'd contact your nurse.
The effects of sneezing is incredible and can set off all kinds!
Apart from this, I hope you're alright toots.
Cherry xo
PS can you believe it was 26 days ago!!!!

Babes, don't beat yourself up, you haven't done anything wrong. A sneeze is the most natural bodily response and you can't help the fact that you've maybe pulled a muscle.
Hey, it could be worse.....
...Your eye balls could have popped out!!

Re: December Buddies!
Helena hope you're feeling a little better today hun. It does sound like you've pulled a muscle..sneezes can be powerful things. It can't do any harm though to ring your nurse...it just gives you reassurance.
I had to go back to the hospital yesterday because one of my incisions was weeping. I got into such a panic, but when I got there the nurse said it was fine. She thinks my scars look great..I don't... I feel like I'm related to Frankenstein. She gave me some inodine strips to dress it with...but she did say I should leave it at night to give it some air. I think I'll give it another couple of days and then see how it goes with no dressing.
Well girls at the moment I'm sat here blimmin freezing, I've got so many layers on and believe it or not fingerless gloves I'm that cold. My central heating boiler (that I only had installed last year) decided to go on the blink last night. Hubby rang british gas..we have a service contract with them..but they can't come out untill Saturday afternoon. Trust it to happen to me on the coldest night of the year. I suppose though they must be inundated with calls with this bad weather...aghh still mad though!
I'm still not back at work because of the weather, our head teacher has decided to close until Monday. Although at least I would have been warm if I'd been at work lol.
Hope everyone is feeling good this fine freeeezing morning.

OMG, I hope you get that sorted... It's a big thing with uni and even with the HNC I'm doing.... Thing is there's sooooo many resourcing sites etc... I think the main thing is if you reference everything... At least that's my understanding.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you toots.
Enjoy yer food :) xo

Everything is ok, have just overworked myself and need to take it easy for a while. Have strained my muscle thats it. She explained to me the signs to look for if it was an infection and it defintly not that and i would be in alot of pain!! Can chill out now knowing i aint damaged them I dont like having time off work but im defintly gunna sit out on that one untill im better. Thanx for all your support though, what would we do without eachother!! x x Hope everyone is ok? Have just got to get over this flu now x

Re: December Buddies!
stephy that's so funny that you 'violated them' with your boobs!!!! still laughing about that oh dear that's why not to put a head shot in along with the baps then!!!
G- that sounds like quite an achievement self plagarisation, that's like you copied yourself,,,, well you would wouldn't you..... you only have one brain after all what a load of crap man!!! Universities are so up emselves. Hope it turns out ok. more importantly new boobs are looking ace they have defo dropped a bit and shaping up nicely so that's ace.
Alfie- sorry to hear that your still not quite right with the uplift, but fundamentally its a much bigger op than the rest of us. Good news is that the scars are healing ok (all but one). My friend had an uplift about 7 years ago and you can barely see the scars at all, she said 6 months after the op they started to look really good, I know it seems like ages but it will be worth it.
take care the rest of you and have a fab weekend xxx

Re: December Buddies!
Hiya girls glad to say I've got my heating back on I decided yesterday to investigate for myself what was wrong with my heating, and after only a little googling found out the condenser pipe outside was frozen soild. A zillion kettles full of water later and yipee the boiler is bubbling away. Who needs men! lol
Hey Georgie hope the uni thing gets sorted and I will have a peek at your pics later when there's no kids around. Whenever I come on here, one of the kids always walks in on me and seeing as my boobie op was a secret from them I don't like them seeing me on here.
Helenascania it's good news it's nothing serious, make sure you just get lots of rest. I think no matter how minor you think the problem is, just getting reassurance from the medical profession just puts your mind at ease.
Thanks Katy for reassuring me on the scars. I have looked at lots of pics and I know deep down that they will fade, but I can't help wanting them not to be there. I can actually see a difference in just a few days. I wish now I had took some pics of them when the dressings first came off, but to be honest I didn't want my hubby to see them......and still don't. I think he's worried he's not gonna get to see these babies till the summer lol.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Re: December Buddies!
Hey December girlies, hows things?
I'm back at work now I did enjoy my extra snow holiday. But I have to say I'm sick to death of the blimmin snow now. Everytime I set out for work I'm slipping and sliding, how I get there in one piece is beyond me. I'm fed up of people using my garden as a safe place to walk as well. I live on a corner..and okay..I know the paths are slippy..but I spend alot of time looking after my garden and don't appreciate it being used as a thoroughfare for every Tom **naughty word** and Harry. Sorry!!! I just had to have a little moan.
Hows the boobies? Mine are still tender and I'm fed up of my bra rubbing my incisions, I'm sure thats why one part is still weeping. I've been out and bought a sloggi bra top..I know they're not as supportive..but it has given me a bit of relief..and it does actually feel quite tight. So hopefully I'm not doing any damage having a wee rest from the sports bra. I gave my boobs an hour without a bra on last night...and my god was it heaven. At first they felt quite heavy but after a short time the heaviness went. I'm thinking the incision will dry up better if I give it an airing.
I've still not been brave enough to let my hubby see my boobs since my dressings came off. I was quite upset about the scars, even though I've see other people's pics and I know they heal and change so much. I can see a difference though, I'm just not happy with one of my nipples, so I hope it looks better with time. I will have to take some snaps and get some opinions, especially from the uplift ladies.
Anyway I've blabbed on for too long so I'll go and have a cuppa.
Bye
xx

Re: December Buddies!
Hi alfie and all the other december girlies!
im like you, sick and tired of this snow, it was ok for a few days but its dragged on long enough now!
though i have enjoyed building a snowman in that back garden! lol im a big kid at heart! lol
with regards to sports bra's ive found the shock absorber ones to be great, there comfy, do not rub my incisions, and keep me in place, only thing is the seam digs in a little at the top so when i take it off ive got marks across my boobies, right one seems to be great though the left one is very slow at catching up, was abit worried at first but nurse has advised me it all normal.
looking forward to seeing my surgeon on 25th see what he has to say about em!
so far ive had 4 weeks out of the gym, thought i would be missing it and itching to get back but ive surprised myself, im really enjoying the break and not missing the place one bit! haha xx

Re: December Buddies!
Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!! (frantically waves to everyone)
I thought you'd all disappeared off the face of the earth lol.
Awwww Alfie and Kerry, whilst I sympathize with you and the snow; just remember some of us (uhum... ME) hasn't seen grass for OVER a month now
I have my review this coming Sunday and I'm geared up to go all guns blazing.... The size is STILL bugging me. I braved it and let a very good male friend look through my pics and he agreed that I've just got 'fuller' and not 'big' like I wanted.
Have emailed my PC to let her know that I'm still not happy...
'I know' I have changes to go through, but as I've said before unless a miracle happens, I can't see these babies fluffing to the size I wanted! I can't stop feeling cheated and that my PS gave me what HE wanted and not what I wanted....
Still, tis only money, won't be taking it with me when I'm dead, so if it means I wait til I've paid for these (if they don't do it free, which I don't suppose they will) I'll pay for a re-op next year and possibly with a different PS.
Lol... Kerry I really thought you would be climbing the walls with not being able to go to the gym!
Alfie... it's REALLY annoying when ppl use yer gardens as pavements, but to be fair, I've been doing it as they are safer
Good to hear from you girls :)
Big hugs to all the other dudettes.
