Help! Swimming after unders? Empty Help! Swimming after unders?

Help! Swimming after unders? 751387 Went swimming on Friday, which was 6 weeks and 1 day po, and it was really difficult and uncomfortable. I'm a keen swimmer and want to get back into it, as I've got a bit flabby in the last 6 weeks, but I could hardly manage a length. It felt as if the implants were moving around and was a very strange feeling.

Was really gutted, and wondered if anyone else has had this problem with swimming. Does it get any easier, or will I never be able to swim properly again?

Have emailed my ps to ask about it, but I think he is away at the moment. I'm slightly worried about dislodging the implants and hurting myself, as I was sore after my swim.

The good news, though, is that I got a couple of nice, sexy bras from La Senza yesterday - 34D and 34DD! I haven't been measured yet so not sure if they are what I would usually buy, but they did cheer me up after not being able to swim on Friday.

Any replies on swimming after unders would be great...

Hey Hun

I don't swim very much, but I do remember when I first went after my BA, it felt VERY strange.

It does get better and although I'm aware of the implants still, it's not uncomfortable or anything. However, I do make sure I squish 'em back together after!!!

Hi hun, your still quite early po so I'm not surprised it felt strange. I don't swim much but did take my little boy swimming not long after my second op and it felt really wierd. I don't think I'd have been comfortable swimming at 6 weeks after my original op - even doing upper body weights on certain muscles felt strange. I'm sure they will settle down soon and you'll be back to swimming in no time xxx
