Fluid retention after surgery

Did anyone have fluid retention after surgery ? I didnt have drains and expected a bit, but i seem to have fluid retention below my boobs and around my waist & hips as well !?

I was bloated and felt like a bit of a whale but its wasn't specific really, just down to the ga, doing nothing and being so immobile I think, I am two half weeks post op, more active again now and feel back to normal.

i had EVERYTHING retention after mine, i looked preggers although i did have lipo too and had dressings under my clothes but yeh everything was just..big. lol

I was bloated due to GA, but also had fluid build up in my leftie which wasn't to do with GA. I didn't have drains either - mine was because it was a re-op and fluid built up in my old pocket with made it swell up quite a bit bigger than my righty. I was actually really quite worried and saw my surgeon who explained this to me. I am over 3 weeks PO now and it has eventually settled down so I have a matching pair now Fluid retention after surgery 557141
