difference between unders and overs:/
Hi!! i went to transform yesterday and they suggested I could have overs but what is the difference between the two? can you still breastfeed with either? which one looks more natural as well because Fiona at transform said overs but I always thought it was unders aahh confusing !! thank u!!xxxxxx

i always thought it was unders that were more natural looking too, but my surgeon told me that it all depends on the person! so im sure your surgeon thinks that having overs is best for you!
im also hvaing overs and after looking at pics on this forum i am so happy and excited, just have a look around and hope u come to a decision that suits you

Re: difference between unders and overs:/
aaww ok thank you! that has really helped, because I've heard conflicting stories too:)
My surgeon Dr Nathan at transform only does overs so I didn't want to be forced into having overs just because they were the only procedure he did.
Good luck!! not long now for you!YAY!:) xxxxx

Re: difference between unders and overs:/
The main difference between in-front-of-the-muscle 'Over', and behind-the-muscle 'Under' placement of the implant is the type of look that the breasts have. In front of the muscle, the implant has more definition up over the top of the breast. With unders, the definition on top is less distinct. Overs has a shorter recovery time compared to unders which means unders tend to have more of a painful recovery because the muscle has been traumatised in comparison to overs.
I was always led to believe that unders was more natural hun, but the surgeon will know whats best for you as its different for everybody BUT some girls with Unders can look as though they have Overs, and some women with Overs can look as though they have Unders. Therefore like I said already this the placement of the implant is individually decided with each woman, and is explained in detail at her consultation
Hope that helps a bit and I havent confused you xxx

Re: difference between unders and overs:/
hi hunny and welcome to the site x i have had both unders and have now changed to overs. to be honest this is the best thing i ever done.
for me overs are so much better, they feel softer, they move more like natural boobies i.e jiggle when walking etc and also surprisingly they look much more natural now.
i breastfed fine when i had my unders and i know it is recomonded if you are planning on breastfeeding then they advise you to go with unders.
i have read about women feeding just fine too though with overs.
it all sounds very confusing i know, i'm sure if your surgeon said go for unders then he knows best.
in my opinion overs are better in evry way, but that is just my opinion.
good luck hun.

Re: difference between unders and overs:/
It all depends on what breast tissue you have to start with. I'm a 36B and having 350cc overs in 2 weeks time. My surgeon said I will get a lovely natural enhancement of my breast now. I'm really pleased about that. I told him I didn't want the VB look!!!

Hi,
I had 410 overs and I'm so pleased that I did. I love my overs. They are really soft and natural looking and feeling.
You can still breastfeed with overs and the recovery and healing time is quicker.
Are you going through Transform at London? If so, I'd ask to see Mr Khan. He did my boobs and he is fantastic.
