Sports bra woes
Hi ladies, need your help again!
I'm really struggling to get a sports bra to fit me! Neither the 32C or 34C front zip-up bras from M&S will go round me, and I ordered a 32C Z bra which is too small on the band as well.
So at the moment I'm wearing a last resort 32C racer-back bra which the nurse at hospital had to help me into. It's really not ideal as I still can't move my arms very much at all. But I'm really worried because it's got this 'top strap' thing built in..do you think it's pressing down on my boobs too much?
Here's a link so you can see it:

(it says it's back fastening but that's lies!!)

Re: Sports bra woes
sounds to me like you need to go for a 36 band hunny, at least until the swelling goes, you don't want to be squeezed into one too small hun, maybe even go for a d cup too?

Hi hun
With you having unders haven't you got to wear a strap anyway?
The stop band looks like a similar principle to the strap.

Yeh I've got a plastic-type strap over the top and bottom of them. Do you think it might be too much pressure then?? :pale: xx

Re: Sports bra woes
May be a little. I was way uncomforatable with my strap that i had to wear for 3 weeks! I took it off yesterday thank goodness. One medical strap would be enough for me i don't think you will find it very comfortable with more pressure hun! :dunno:
I just wore a normal back fastning sports bra the one from M&S is the most comfortable for me.
Hope you manage to sort it hun.

Re: Sports bra woes
I'm 4 weeks tomorrow and I've only just this week been able to wear my M&S zip up sports bra, as before it was just too tight against my poor bruised boobies. I found the Royce post op bra's most comfortable to begin with aswell, but I don't think figleaves do them anymore .

Re: Sports bra woes
Omg what a nightmare! Well I reserved a 36C bra in M&S which my mum's picking up for me today, bless her. If that fails then I think I'll order one of the royce bras.
This one fits well enough, I think it's a generous 32C! But I am a bit worried about the top strap thingy. x

Re: Sports bra woes
Just a quick update.. 36C from m&s was too big! So my sister went to asda today for me and got loads of different sizes - and I'm now wearing a 36B !
Does this sound like a strange size, since the other bra I was in was 32C?
xx

Re: Sports bra woes
No sometimes if you go up band sizes you usually go down a cup size to compensate. X

Re: Sports bra woes
Jemmys right hun the 36b would be a 34c, 32d, but because you will have quiet a bit of swelling you will need to wear a bigger band size, i was the same and wore a 36b at first then 34c when the swelling went i was measured at a 32dd.
