Hi girls!

I think I'm posting on here more now that I have my boobs than before when they were sooo small Boobs , lol!

Anyway, I was just wondering, and I'm a bit embarassed by it, but...if any of you ended up getting a HUGE swollen stomach straight after the op how long did this take for it to go back to how it was pre-op?

I'm nearly 12days post-op and my stomach is still hard and swollen (so much so that my work trousers are a tad tight Blush ) and I look like I've been away for a week and returned 6months pregnants....I've been drinking loads of water and fresh fruit/veg and have been very careful on my diet due to lack of gym for the next few weeks so am assuming that it is still from the painkillers and GA although I did think that this would pass in a few days

anyone able to shed any light???????

thank you!! xx

I was bloated for about 6 days and then went to a chemist and he advised drinking peppermint oil in hot water.......it worked within a couple of days!!!

It really worked for me!

Hi chick

I felt exactlly the same i thought the bloomin surgeon had done something to my stomach muscles Hysterical Hysterical paniced or what!! But it's all gone back now - i think you've seen my pic's and my tum is back to normal.

Little warning on the lactulose it can make you rather windy Rolling Eyes

I made the mistake of taking laxitives not a good idea when your already sore up top and then in your gut! Oh well we live and learn .

You will definately get back to normal no starving yourself now lady!! :)

Take care

hiya hunny my tummy felt really bloted too for about 3 weeks as i had my period the week after my b/a which didn't help.
i think it's something almost all of us have to deal with.
the good news is it will go so don't panic yourself, just relax and enjoy your new boobies, drink plenty of water too hun.

I was the same too, drink plenty of water to flush it out and also use a light laxative like senekot, hope you start to feel better soon.
