5 days on and im still really bloated looking
im drinking pure orange like mad but its just not making a diffrence any tips girls other than senna ?

Are you moving about now hun?

Getting yourself up and walking will do you the world of good hunni, I found even just taking a short walk a couple of times a day really helped with the bloating and getting my posture back so my tummy no longer looked like a buddah belly! LOL

I had to bite the bullet and take senna in the end. But I hadn't been for over a week by that point! Hot drinks and fruit helps. My mum swears by a strong coffee with a sugar in it and an orange. If she has that she goes to loo within an hour! Are you on tramadol?x

I had lots of hot water, high fibre foods and fruit stuff like porridge & blueberries, fresh melon & pineapple. I also had to take a couple of senna doses to get things moving. Like Cookie said, keeping as active as you can really helps. I was badly bloated for about 4 days, but things are much better now!

lots of water and being active does help hun. the other thing that helps me is caffeine. another trick i have is to rub on the left side of my tummy just above my hip bone, sounds gross but you can feel your colon and if there's poo sitting there and you massage a little it can get things moving.

hey girls,yeah im drinking a small bottle of water with my pills and every 4hrs religously and i havent stopped since monday night doing loads im out doin school runs now then not back in till 3/4 past few days, so its deffo not down to being under active..
apart from the massive bloated belly lol im feeling great! cant complain loving my boobs more and more everyday :-)

Tramodol ??

no im only on co-codimol every 4hrs and a course of antibiotics 4times a day to fight any infection off (just a precaution) dont have any infections lol

Hi hun, i did everything i was supposed to do too, but was still very bloated! I think it will go on its own with time. I think by the second week i was starting to look a bit less pregnant!

Hun I stopped taking the pain killers they gave me after a couple of days and was still like it for a week after the op. I think the anaesthetic just generally slows everything down. I couldn't see bloated belly for the boobies so didn't care lol xx

was annoying yestarday tho me and my hunni's anniversary big 10yrs and i looked aw chunky in my wee dress going for a meal....but was packing some big boobies so dont think he notised much,just me wobbling Hysterical

I stayed bloated until I ditched the painkillers. Looked about 3 month pregnant I was that bloated, it soon went down though was I finally went! :teehee:

I was the same morning boob was a killer! Think I stopped taking them completely after 2 weeks but was only taking them first thing after about 5/6 days x

hey yummy i was the same , it was about 10 days after i lost the bloated feeling, i stopped cocodamol after 5 days and went on to paracetomal, this seemed to ease the loo situation... cocodamol is known for bunging you up !!
but still felt bloated . i think i didnt return to normal till after antibiotics left my system, then got bloody thrush lol.

i'll be honest i've shed a wee tear for 2min every morn tryin 2 get out of bed lol bloody horrible feeling...
a like that one millie,morning boob Hysterical

might try easin off the painkillers then cant be doin with the loo problems and fake pregnant look lol x
