Drinking Post Op
I'm going away for a few days, 3 days post op and it is renowned for it's absolute abuse of alcohol over those 3 days.
I'm not intending to drink until it is coming out of my ears, like previous years, but it would be nice to know I can have a couple to ease the boobie tension.
Is it ok, or really not advisable to touch a drop? Obviously if i'm on anti-biotics I know I won't be able to but if i'm not is a few drinks ok??

Re: Drinking Post Op
I think with overs your recovery will be good and you should feel fine enough to drink at day 3 but I think it's a high probability you will be given antibiotics after your op. I even asked my ps if I could bypass the antibiotics because I have a problem with candida but he said definitely not, you must have them. xxx

Re: Drinking Post Op
If you're on anti-biotics or heavy duty pain killers like co-codamol then no. TBH I felt quite knackered for a good week afterwards and just didn't want to drink. But if you're off your meds then one or two would probably be OK - you do need to be careful though - you don't want to bump them - or have drunk people bumping into you! :)

You'll be taking antibiotics/cocodomal so you wont be able to drink til you're done with these, usually 1-2 weeks x

Re: Drinking Post Op
I'm not bothered about drinking at all. Will just be glad to have boobs.
I can still have fun watching the boys get absolutely wasted. Like you say, don't want to bump them
