Hey ladies,

I am 8 days post op and I have completed my course of antibiotics, but I just wondered when it is ok to have a little drink again? I have not drank for over a month in the run up to my surgery - I had a big party to go to on 20th October, so I though I would have one last night on the drink and stop for a month, so I was as healthy as possible.

I am not talking about going out on the lash, I am just craving a cheeky glass of pinot to relax a bit.

When is it 'ok' to start drinking again? x

As long as you are off your antibiotics and painkillers I am sure it's fine! I was going to go to my best friends birthday 8 days post op but backed out as was having a sore day but I was going to drink x

Yeah I am avoiding going out as that is more strenuous, but I just mean having a glass at home with dinner. I am not a big drinker anyway, but it would be nice to have the option. Thanks Scatty. x
