Consultation Day Bra?
Hi all,
I've got my first consultation next Weds (12th October) and was wondering what type of bra do girlies usually wear to the consult?
Is it best to wear what I usually would wear, or should I be wearing a sports bra to slap some trial implants in?! Wasn't sure if they provided a special 'over the shoulder implant holder' or if I will be putting them inside my own bra!
Thanks in advance,
Babybird x

Re: Consultation Day Bra?
Some places give you a bra to try them on with - others advise you bring a sports bra in your desired size to try them with. maybe buy a cheap crop top type one from asda or something!
Good luck xx

Thanks Lucy.
I have got a cheapie Primarni one that I bought to shove some rice boobies in, but that's just in a dress size, rather than cup size. Will have to see if I can find a cup-sized one. xx

Re: Consultation Day Bra?
Hi,
I just wore my own bra but they had a bra there that was really stretchy, like a sports yoga bra kinda thing. Fit the implants in perfect.
Also, i would take a few tops see how you feel with the different sizers in. I took a t shirt and a dress that was quite fitted. Gives you an idea how they will look in your own clothes etc.

That's a good idea, thanks.
I did have to ring yesterday to confirm my appointment and they said that they do have bras there to try the implants with.
Bit apprehensive now, this tomorrow I'll have some idea of what i can go for!

Re: Consultation Day Bra?
Hi Carrie,
It was good thanks.
I'm booked for a second consult on the 9th Nov (although bizarrely, just had a phone call from them about an hour ago to check that I was still OK for the second consult today!........ They're eager, if nothing else!).
Tony Barabas was really nice, both myself and hubby got on really well with him. Think I've settled on 550cc hp unders. What profile are yours? My only concern is that hp will give me a very fake look (I'm too old for that look now, I'm afraid loll!) but PS thinks they'll be fine as I have a large frame. That's all I'm worried with at the moment, but I'm sure as time goes on, I'll find something else to get jittery over!

Re: Consultation Day Bra?
Hi Mel
They are all eager to take your money!!
I had 350cc unders, wish I would of gone a touch bigger but we all say that but 550cc should be plenty of . I was a small 34 b now I'm 34 e!!
What size are you now and height etc ?

Re: Consultation Day Bra?
Which profile did you have? The choice in implants from Nagor, which is the type they use, would either be 480cc moderate or 550cc high profile. I'm wanting to go bigger as I've spent my entire life since puberty with virtually nothing, so now I've got my chance, I want to get my money's worth! Would there really be that much noticeable difference between 480 mods or 550 highs?
I'm currently 36a/b, 5'10" and size 14.

Re: Consultation Day Bra?
I think your probably right Carrie.
I just don't want to look like I've got two pudding basins for boobies! That look is fine if you're a spring chicken and it's a look you like, but I'm more of a wise old bird who likes the full, natural look!
I've emailed PS tonight, outlining my thoughts and I'm now waiting to see him again on 9th, so will see what he says then.
