THG consultation

Hi, can anyone tell me if u get to try the implants at Thg consultation????
I have just booked the Newcastle clinic tomorrow for a 2nd opinion but I really want to try the different sizes on x

If its not offered hun, then do be sure to ask.

Time is limited in the large commercial clinics so if you don't ask its very likely you won't get babe. Xx

I did at THG, twice, I saw my pc before and after seeing surgeon. I found the company as a whole to be amazing and lots of my friend have gone through them to, but surgeon wasn't right for me. I prob had less than 10 minutes with the surgeon too so get any questions ready in advance x

Just to add to littlewellies comment about the fast consultations at the large clinics. Don't settle for that if you have further questions to ask babe. You're paying for this consultation so be sure you get what you want from it. Don't feel rushed by any surgeons and be sure you feel comfortable and understand all that is suggested before leaving hun. X

hi hun, i made sure to email my pcc beforehand to ask.

she said the surgeon would make size recommendations, and then i would come back to see her and try the sizes with her. this means the surgeon's time is not taken up ('wasted') by us going, ooh can i try that again, oh this looks good, no actually can i try that one again. this is what i did with my pcc at THG and she was lovely about it, never rushed me.
she even said, do you want to keep them on for another little while and i'll go through your quote with you while you're wearing them. afterwards i nearly walked out with them on because i had already got used to them Hysterical

anything you're not sure of, better to just ask and email in advance, that way they'll also gain an understanding of what you are trying to get out of your consultation.

I am seeing Arnaldo Paganelli. I feel as though I have already made my mind up to go with Ben Chew at bmi but I just want to see what others would recommend and to try the different sizes on.

I would be sure to ask, I tried on implants with my surgeon (not my PCT) twice. I valued his opinion and the comments he made (ie if I went bigger may be able to see implant etc). He only offered me 340-380 at my initial consultation but when trying them on with him he felt he could possibly go up to 410cc which I preferred. If I had just tried them on with the PCT I would have been limited to what the surgeon had suggested initially and would be asking questions to a sales person that had no medical training and wants their commission from selling an op to you.

Hi love, I had mine done with Mr P and he was very thorough, I knew straight away he was right for me. Also had no problems with THG, always able to get hold of them, and went back twice for fittings. I had a 6 weeks check and all is going quite well. if you want to see my picture trail just let me know x

agree with misf, if you maybe want to go bigger or aren't happy with the initial size choices the surgeon made for you, you can always ask for a second appointment with him.

for me it was easier, as my surgeon gave a range of sizes suitable for my BWD and my frame in general, but i didn't even want to go up to the biggest one or bigger. quite the opposite, will be asking him about one smaller than he suggested (in keeping with the BWD measurement he took) next time i see him.

in any case, never be afraid to ask questions hun x
