Consultation

Hi all,

As I have said on here before I am due to see HMG on 30th of this month but after reading on here that they like to charge £500 before you see the surgeon and it's not refundable, I am going to cancel.

I know now that I am not happy to pay £500 on the day and that I will be seeing other companies and I feel that it will be a total waste of my time and their time if I go to the appt.

Hi Gemma, I am with HMG, the company does as a rule tend to ask for the £500 first but that does'nt mean you have to pay it, I know lots of girls (myself included) that met the surgeon, even a couple of times before paying. I reckon you should go to the consolutation and find out, its worth it just to get some free advice and questions answered, just dont let them pressure you X

Hey lovely, I agree, I don't think it's right HMG charge that amount of money. I see it as a way of tying women into surgery, not necessarily with the surgeon they want either.

Have you thought about seeing someone else?

The fee is a way of forcing you to stay with them if you ask me, i wouldn't pay it if i was not 100% sure I wanted to have the surgery with them.
Either go elsewhere or don't part with any money unless you decide it's them you want your surgery with, good luck hun x x
