Moving around
Hey girls just wondered how long it took for everyone to start moving around again? I've just had my second op on Friday and have been out for a few walks around the block but am having a serious case of cabin fever! Being my 2nd op everyone is more worried so making me lay low and it's driving me crazy because I don't feel half as bad as I did the first time!

Re: Moving around
Ahh bless you, I remember feeling the same and being surprised at home naff I felt. A lot of people on here seemed to sail through recovery!
Just don't try and do too much. Listen to your body and let it do its thing.
If you had GA that will be in your system making you feel odd and tired too.
Get Netfix on or your fav movies and just go with it.
Wont be forever.
Are you happy with them? Do they seem lower already etc?

Re: Moving around
I hated being so invalid too!! But if I had my time again (which i'm sure I will do at some point!) - I'd be telling myself - enjoy it while it lasts. We have such busy lives its not often we get to sit back and do nothing. Kicking myself for being so anxious about getting back to normal now! 2-3 weeks start to get much better in terms of moving around but def take it very easy for the first week. ENJOY IT!!! Won't be long before you are buzzing around again! xx

Re: Moving around
Thanks guys it's true u do regret not enjoying the down time!
Yep they are low and look normal touch wood just super small lol! No bruising and got full arm movement although Im not using them! I just can't see them being the same size which is slightly worrying but I'm sure once they drop ect they b fine! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] GREED! I was offered the chance to go bigger but dd was good for me so if they shrink I will not be happy!

Re: Moving around
The different positioning might make them a smaller bra size... just when I first got measured when mine were sitting higher and tighter they measured quite big, whereas now they have dropped into place a bit they fit into a DD.
But then some girls have the opposite and measure bigger once they drop!!
But in the first week or two mine were sooooo flat and gross - they hardly looked any bigger than post BA really. Once the muscle relaxed and the implant softened they looked loads bigger. Happy to share my pics if it helped as they really look a world different now to when they did when they were first done - they were tiny. I can PM you the details if it helps.
Also when you get them into proper bras they look bigger - the sports / surgery bras just flatten them! xx

Re: Moving around
Sent you the details but for some reason it doesn't seem to let me send stuff to people - it says the message is still sitting in my outbox. Hopefully you've got it anyway but I've always had this problem sending PMs - its very hit and miss! x

Re: Moving around
I was walking around from day 3, did a 4 mike walk day 4 but really took it easy with arm movement and lifting. 10 days and driving again and washed my own hair at day 7 I think. I had overs and so found my recover pretty good. My size increased very slightly once I'd dropped and softened.
Take healing one day at a time and listen to your body. Rest of you need to.
Yay to game of thrones and just intime for new episodes xx
