Surgery in Scotland? Empty Surgery in Scotland?

Post by morgancx 31st December 2015, 1:23 am

Hi everyone,

Completely new here so apologies if this is in the wrong section!

I'm planning on booking a few consultations in the new year for a breast augmentation. I would prefer to get them done in Scotland so attending appointments etc is easier.

A friend of a friend has recommended La Belle Forme Clinic in Glasgow so I have emailed them for more info, can anyone recommend any other Scottish clinics? I have an idea of what I want but it's now just finding the best place that's the hard part!

Many thanks for any help in advance :)

Hi, welcome to the forum. Why not pop over to the newbies section to introduce yourself so we can start to get to know you.

I too am the other end south, but I think the best thing to do is think about what you want out of a BA. There are two main options - private or corporate clinic. Corporate would be your THG, Transform, any that you see advertised really. Private would be through private medical companies, BMI, Nuffied. These tend to cost a little extra, but the surgeons should be BAAPS qualified. That's another decision to make - how qualified to you want your surgeon? There's no right or wrong answer here, just what you feel is right for you. I didn't have a BAAPS surgeon do mine, and have just had 2 of them complement the work done!

We recommend you get at least 3 different opinions, so you can make sure they are advising what's right for you, can take an average, and just see if you click with the surgeon, which can be very important. If you don't like him, or don't feel safe in your decisions with him, you cant let him take a knife to you.

Best of luck, and know there's no such thing as too much research!
