BA's in Scotland anyone?
Has anyone had their BA is Scotland? If so, where at and who with? I am very keen on dr kuna, but I'd like to see a few more surgeons aswel as him, hear about them, see their work and investigate abit more on them so I can choose others to have consultations with

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
Hi, I had my ba 15 days ago with Ben chew at Glasgow rosshall he was highly recommend to me and I myself thought he was great and am so happy with my boobies, he also works in reconstruction on the NHS and does work in reducing scaring techniques, I went through transform, type his name into your search bar and it will show all his qualifications etc, my choice was kuna or Ben chew, dr kuna wasn't working when I had mines but they both recommended exact same implant and placement to me, I also had another consultation with a mr czopkiewicz but to be honest Ben chew stood out for me x

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
Hi I went private with Rosshall as I had hunted down the surgeon I wanted Mr Arup Ray as he does breast reconstruction as his "day" job lol. he is also specialised in cleft palate reconstruction amongst many other things, i did see vivek Sivarajan, Ben Chow and I just loved Mr Ray he took and hour and 20 mins on my first consultation and showed me pics of rippling ec and i wanted bigger than the 360cc he was adamant I should not go bigger
Ive seen him at 2 weeks see him at 9 weeks 12 weeks 6 month and a year and anytime i feel in between. Ive sent many emails and he always replies lol
Rosshall was a great wee hospital
Im not 100% happy with my boobs but nothing to do with the surgeon anything he has said will happen like swelling going down and making my boobies bigger, etc has been spot on.
i was going to go with harley or hospital group but then i just knew I wanted Mr Ray so went private

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
I have been to my 1st consultation with Ben Chew at bmi glasgow.
I really liked Ben and I was amazed how at ease he made me feel. What did Ben recommend for u ajm81? And how good is the aftercare at rosshill??

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
Hi I went to see mr Stewart at spire murrayfieid Edinburgh, highly recommended to me by friend of a friend. Nice man but felt he wanted a smaller natural look for me ie 310cc or less anatomicals which if I am honest was not the look i had been dreaming of! Spent an hr consultation mainly trying on the sizers after a discussion and examination. He did not show me any pictures of his work. Consultation was free. Next I went to mr shoaib who owns la belle Forme clinic in Glasgow and operates from Nuffield Glasgow. He picked out near the exact size I wanted without me even saying. Also chose rounds for me which again is what I wanted. So nothing wrong with first surgeon just felt the second was on the same page as me. Consultation was £100 though, but I was happy to pay as I had seen him recommended on this and other websites. I did not try on sizers (u can do that at a nurse appt separately if u still need to after seeing him) consult was discussion examination and looking at before n after shots of implants n scars etc. I called back few times with questions, obsessive as I am, and the receptionist did her best but then booked me a free second consultation, and he sorted out my issues then. Will let u know how I get on on the 19th next month! X

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
I heard (from a friend's friend) that Dr. Kuna is highly recommended but a little 'blunt' with his manner.

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
I had Mr kuna, and he was lovely but def not a man of many words lol. I did ALOt of the talking and bombarding the poor man with questions but im happy with the outcome while im only 5wks. He was blunt when it came to sizes lol which annoyed me but i was just in my own bubble thinkin i knew wot i was on about lol, looking back now his recommendation of size was spot on so im over it lol. I was in Rosshall Glasgow, food was good, couple nurses amazing and a couple god damn awful and was in fear who id b seen by nxt lol.xx

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
Hi dkdme5, I had 300cc high profile round partial unders as I had no breast tissue at all, am currently a 32 dd but I only look about a c which is what I asked for although now I wish they were a bit bigger, I could have had slightly bigger but he said anything over the 300 wouldn't look as natural as I was wanting and to be honest he chose the perfect size for my frame, think everyone gets a bit of boob greed haha! What did he recommend for u?

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
Hi ajm81
375, 335 or 310.
They are teardrop overs. I only tried on the 375's and loved them but when I got home I realised I got carried away and they will prob b too big. I'm like u and just want a subtle natural look.
I emailed Ben and he recommended the other two sizes as alternatives for my frame. I think I will go with the 335's but I want to try them first.
How many times did u see Ben for consultations?x

Re: BA's in Scotland anyone?
I only seen him the once but was so pleased with him he made me feel so at ease during consultations and took the time to answer all my questions, I ended up getting him by chance as I was originally going with mr kuna then discovered he wasn't working the week I was booked for my op so transform recommended I see Ben chew as I wasn't flexible on dates and as soon as I met him I knew I wanted him to do my surgery, also I had a friend that had re aug with him last year and she also highly recommended him x
