Why is that some surgeons use them but others don't. I didn't wear one but I did think of buying one x

Hey lovely I had one of them - my surgeon uses them if he thinks the implants need some help to settle (if they're quite high up).

It should be tight but not uncomfortable.. and in terms of position... its hard to explain but it should be on your back where your bra would normally fasten then bring it up and over the top of your boobs.. like resting on top of them. Does that make sense? X

Yes that sounds right :) honestly if you've been given one... DEFINITELY use it! Mine dropped fairly quickly and evenly and I'm sure it's because I was really good at keeping my band on! My sister had hers done by the same surgeon and she didn't have one. If you've got one it's because he or she thinks you need one so make the most of it! I used mine every day for 2 weeks then at night only for another week or so x

Yup, kay is spot on. It'll leave marks, but that's fine. So long as you can breath with it. And if it does start to chaff, cut the toes off some old socks and thread them through.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], its the same for all post op care, it'll differ girl to girl. But if you haven't been told explicitly by your surgeon to wear one, don't. It'll invalidate your aftercare.

I was in one for 6wks, just horrible!

Just stay on top of your pain meds, and try and get snatches of sleep wherever you can.
