I don't want to be took big? or not big enough?!
Hi everyone I would really appreciate some general opinions!
I have always been pretty flat! I am 5'9'' I have a cup size difference (which is even more obvious on small boobs I think!) my reason for BA is the asymmetry, I have always thought if they were the same size it would be ok.
Im quite slim so I am actually ok with just having maybe just the one size bigger. And even yey!
But as I get closer and think more...
and I am looking at implant sizes of people not as tall as I am who look great and not too big at all !
I don't know wether I should really go for at and get a couple sizes bigger instead of just one? ( after all I am spending so much money!) two birds with one stone symmetry and size?? xo

I'll start again :)
What did your surgeons in the consultations say in regards to size?
It's really hard to talk to a surgeon about size because if you say to them 'I want to be a C' Your idea of a C and theirs will be 2 completely different sizes.
It is always a good idea to take pictures with you, whether they are augmented boobs or not, to show the surgeon the look you like.
I have gone from a B to a F (at the moment) which means for me 70cc was a size! This means the chances of a surgeon being able to give you one size may be very hard.
Also the surgeon will look at your breast width, each implant as it goes up in weight will also get wider, with this in mind. If your breast width is 11cm then they need to use an implant about 11cm to make them look right for your body.
You need to trust your surgeon - he will tell you what sizes are good for YOU.
Mine asked me what look I would like, measured my breast width, drew on me to show me where they would sit, and asked what I thought.
He told me the size implant he would use.... pretty much xx

Aw thanks for writing it all again! She suggested 300cc and explained the rice test which I am currently wearing (keep taking them in and out to see if my mom notices haha)
She then said to go up or down from 300...I just have no idea! There is just solo much variation!
Good to hear that about your surgeon hopefully she will just decide for me then!xo

Haha you got it more in note form to second time ;)
How many consultations have you been to? go to at least 3! - they will all be SO different! - who was the surgeon you saw?
See what other surgeons say, enjoy this time where you can learn loads from your surgeons and why they are making their decisions.
I actually liked the look of 375cc sizers but my surgeon said they were just too big for me, this is why we went high profile, I think mine had a 4.9mm projection :)
300cc is going to give you a few bra sizes! - everyone is very different so you can never put a size on it xx

Re: I don't want to be took big? or not big enough?!
I agree with sarahlou...gets loads of opinions! But I guess what you need to decide first is your goal, as without an example of what you want to look like it will be hard for a surgeon to guide you. You don't want to regret not making the most of it, but at the same time big boobs aren't for everyone and there are some ladies out there with stunning tall slim bodies who look amazing! It's a difficult one! Unfortunately only you know the answer! Maybe have a look through a 'lads' mag and see what body shape draws you in most! Or there are lots of website with examples in the sticky avout bedore/after pics!

Re: I don't want to be took big? or not big enough?!
I have been to 4 consults but have only seen 2 surgeons, I am 99% sure I will be going with Anne Dancey she works at BMI and Spire too, she was so sympathetic and understanding about my asymmetry and the only one to offer a lift just on the one side, all others I asked about them still being different heights (nipple position and crease, the main reason I want BA!) basically said they can't do anything about it it will just remain asymmetric or possibly get worse. So I am really happy with her opinion and she has an amazing reputation, I can't find anything negative at all!
Thankyou for you advice mammamia about looking at lads mags! I had a look, they are all a bit big for me I think! However it was good inspiration as I also just searched for bikini pics on pinterest which has been very helpful, found some good looks I think will suit me!
I think I will ring in tomorrow and book :)

Sounds great! It sounds like you've found a great surgeon, many clinic surgeons are just focused on 'standard' ba's so it's great she is tailoring it to you personally. BMI and spire have good reputations too. When you show her photos make sure you show her too big and too small as well.. It will just help gauge it. Sorry the lads mags were too big!! I assumed that there would at least be some smaller ladies but I guess that's a reflection of a male population!! I didn't want big boobs either, just some boobs! Although I do wonder if mine would seem much bigger on a slimmer lady (I'm 10/12 and quite broad!)

Re: I don't want to be took big? or not big enough?!
Yeah she's awesome! and Aurora who I found her through have the largest list of different types of BA's I have seen and so so much info on them so i'm really happy!
Ever since I have been looking (about 6 years since I was first interested lol) I have always searched for asymmetry not just enlargement as that is what bothers me, and there hasn't been too many surgeons with a lot of information on it, and mya and harley seemed a little out of their comfort zone at consults with all my concerns and I felt they were more interested in the sale.. so I'm glad to have found a chilled out specialist !
Boys will be boys!! haha I was looking for La Senza too I didn't realised they closed down :( I have been living in Australia the last 2 years I have been back 6 weeks I was really looking forward to La Senza after my BA!
Yeah you are similar to me as I am 5'9" so I know I can definitely take larger implants and it will all balance, how tall are you if you don't mind me asking? I take a size 10/12 too, its amazing you are now an F so much difference :D

I'm 5'6. F sounds huge but it's really not! i would have freaked beforehand if the surgeon told me that and had half the size! In non-lingerie brands like m&s/high street shops I usually wear 32dd. 30f in bravissimo/freya/lepal/panache. Yes la senza closed! It took me by surprise too!

Re: I don't want to be took big? or not big enough?!
There is still the odd La Senza about - I think! Im sure I saw one in Leeds the other week.. maybe I'm wrong!!
What type of uplift are they going to use? Will you have more scarring on one side than the other?
I had asymmetry, but my surgeon noticed that one of the creases was lower than the other, he moved my left crease down and made them the same, 7 weeks later and I cant tell the difference. In my avi you can still see how my right was bigger, but the swelling settled :) xx

Re: I don't want to be took big? or not big enough?!
Definately go back & see your surgeon with pics of size & look you are after, your surgeon using her expertise will then be able to work out the size/ shape of implant required to get that result.
Using pictures lets your surgeon see exactly what you are after, as just describing what you want to achieve you can't be sure she is visualising what you are .
There's a sticky above in this section for newbies wanting to see before & after pics, you may find some pics in there that you can print off.

Just wanted to add from your avi pic it looks like you are starting with a reasonable amount of breast tissue ,so maybe wouldn't need as big an implant as someone starting with nothing. XXX
