Well attempted to get measured today, however house of fraser put me into a 32d that my nipples were hanging out of and told me that was the ideal size for me

she also proceeded to give me some tips on massaging my implants, and told me my boobs were different sizes.............. thanks then

thats my first ever bra fitting and she didnt use a tape measure and made me feel like crap about my boobs so needless to say i didnt bother going anywhere else but i came home with some 32D/30DD bras from another shop that look amazing, but then i bump into a friend who didnt know id had them done who said they dont look very big i wouldnt have known youve had them done if u didnt say....... thanks for that also lol not sure how i feel about bra shopping!! :( x

Aw hun, it doesn't sound like they did a very good job fitting you, Although fitters shouldn't use measuring tapes as it's how the bra looks on and they should be able to tell by looking and checking the band. I'd try somewhere like bravissimo as they are the best, hands down. I've never tried house of fazer as the woman who does the fitting in my local store looks scary! I wouldn't even want to ask her where anything was let alone ask her to fit me.
As for when you tell people you've had a BA they always seem to automatically assume you want to look like pamela anderson or jordan, and when you don't look like you're smuggling footballs they say "oh you don't look much different" which usually means "where are the stripper boobs". I wouldn't worry about what other people say, some are jealous and some just don't know what they're talking about. I am sure you look fantastic and it's how you feel about them that matters.

If you're happy with your boobs hun don't let what other people have to say bother you one bit... You KNOW they look amazing and as you said yourself, they look amazing in your new bras, so critisisms from women who haven't a clue what they're on about should just rush right ver your head babe.

I'm sorry to read you had such a bad time with the fitter too. That really isn't how you should be feeling after your first fit hun.

A fitters job is to firstly put you in the correctly fitted bra, but also to show you how good they look when fitted right and to have you literally walking on air feel great as you leave!

A fitting from Bravissimo as misf1 suggested would be very much advised babe and I'm sure you'll find that a totally different experience. Xx

littlewellies - your Avi is making me feel confident about going for 290cc. I'd say filling a gorgeous 32D balconette bra is a job well done!

Your avi looks fab! and you know how good they look and make you feel so thats all that counts, so ignore what anyone says, your friends probably just jealous! X

You know from day dot ive always thought ur boobs look amazing. i wouldnt worry about what other people think as long as you love ur boobus then sod them all xx

You look fab littlewellies :) Sorry to hear about your bad experience, bra fitters should have some kind of personal skills training. I saw one recently that made me feel rubbish, but I'm sure there are some better ones out there. You look great. x

Hey, by the sounds of things the fitter was probably new or not trained how to do her job correctly so try and let this experience slide. As for you friend, she probs was expected huge porn star boobs when you mentioned it, as thats what everyone seems to presume you will look like afterwards including everyone i have told who doesnt understand anything about the procedure.

Oh sweetheart. I'm sorry you feel like that. Just remember you went as big as you could. If you had gone bigger it could have lead to complications. It sounds like you have had a great recovery so far. Also, from someone that's had huge knockers, huge ones arnt all their cracked up to be! They are difficult to dress, and get in the way when your exercising ect. I am sure with the right bra and clothes you can max them up when you want to. equally you can wear styles that dont look as good with huge ones. Yours look like they fit you perfectly, if mine turn out as good as yours I'd be one extatic girl!! Don't let others silly judgments get you down, you look amazing! xx

also you look really slim and you said a 32D was too small for you, so what does that tell you? hands down from a pre BA 36AA - yours are not small!!!! :flowers:

i agree with misf1 that people just assume you will have the fakest footballs around because that is the only thing that pops into their heads when they hear BA, and then maybe compared to THAT, they think yours are small, but they are looking at them in the wrong comparison. stand another girl with your stats next to you and they would be saying something completely different i'm sure!

also agree with cookie that you should definitely ignore comments like this. they're your boobs and you got them because you wanted them - and so far i think you have loved them. you look fabulous, so ignore the ignorant and jealous and keep believing you look fabulous!!

Ah babe, that's such a shame it's made you feel bad. Have you got a bravissimo near you? I really didn't believe all the hype until I went in there on Saturday, they were so good and lovely with it!
You couldn't tell at all that I've had mine done with clothes on which is exactly what I wanted!
Go and get fitted again babe, buy some gorgeous new bikinis and don't worry about what anyone else thinks!

Aww Littlewellies, they are your boob in your body, and you look great. Try and put this bad experience behind you, remember some people get a kick out of putting you down and trying to make themselves feel important. What does she know about massaging boobs! Maybe you could try an independent shop if there is one close to you x
